Fresh Hatch Red Chile is available in a medium heat level and shipped in 5, 10, and 25 pound boxes. Our chile is picked and shipped the same day so that it gets to you as fresh as possible. From our farms to your table, a piece of the Land of Enchantment.

Big Jim and Charger are two of our most famous varieties and a favorite for red chile. The hearty pods are perfect for making your own red sauce or roasting and freezing. Don't forget to order some of our Fresh Hatch Green Chile, if only so you can ask yourself our official state question 'Red or Green?'

 

THIS IS A PRE-ORDER FOR THE 2022 CROP. We expect to start harvesting in SEPTEMBER/OCTOBER.

Big Jim and Charger are two of our favorite varieties. They have big meaty pods that are very easy to roast and peel. These varieties have somewhat inconsistent heat levels from pod to pod and from year to year, so expect a lot of variation. Medium pods can grow between 8 and 14 inches in length. They can range on the scoville scale from 500-3,500 SHU.

All orders shipped via 2-Day or Overnight are guaranteed to arrive fresh, so we compensate our customers accordingly when spoilage/damage occurs.

We cannot ship this product to PO Boxes. Please use a physical address when checking out.

Any changes (hold requests, upgraded shipping, substitutions, address changes) must be made by 4pm MST on Monday before your order is shipped out.
