Green Chile Pigs in a Blanket


  • 4 Roasted Hatch Green Chile - deseeded and cut into 32 sections 
  • 2 cans of refrigerator crescent rolls
  • 2 cups grated cheddar cheese 
  • 1 8oz package of cream cheese 
  • 32 little smokie sausages
  • ½ TBS Hatch Green Chile Powder 
  • 1 tsp garlic powder


  1. Preheat oven to 375
  2. Line baking sheet with parchment paper
  3. Whip cream cheese, chile powder, and garlic powder together 
  4. Mix in 2 cups grated cheese
  5. Cut each crescent roll in half lengthwise 
  6. On each half, place one slice of green chile, a spoonful of the cream cheese mixture, and a mini sausage
  7. Wrap the dough around the filling
  8. Bake at 375 for 20 minutes until golden brown
