I was visiting my Son & family in Beaumont, TX a couple years ago and my daughter in law introduced me to this incredible chili pepper!!!! Well I've been hooked since ☺️ I came home and introduced it to my grand daughter in laws. We absolutely love it. I purchased a case of fresh chili's once I receive them, I fire-pit roasted them and they are in my freezer awaiting enhancing one of our family mealy!!! Excellent produce that everyone should try!!! I ordered four 25-pound boxes of medium chiles to preserve a year's supply of green chile goodies for my family. As always, they arrived in beautiful condition and were gorgeous, meaty and fragrant chiles. I know this wasn't an ideal year for chile growers, but they were still super flavorful and delicious. In case you're curious what in the world one woman can do with 100 pounds of green chiles: I put up about 20 quarts of chicken chile verde, 20 quarts of pork green chile, I freeze dried about 15 packets of roasted green chiles and then simply froze the remainder (about 20 more packs). Beyond that, when roasting the chiles, I don't put the blackened chiles in a bag. I put them in a big pot and save that juice that collects at the bottom and I use that for either a marinade base or a canning liquid for pork or chicken. Last thing I do: (yes! There's more!) I save the chile skins and seeds to freeze dry or dehydrate, which I pulverize later and make a green chile season salt that is fantastic on french fries or even popcorn. Still haven't figured out what to do with the stems. LOL.

We absolutely love our Hatch Green Chilis. We have made roasted Hatch Green Chili Sauce that is delicious. We have used them fresh in our salads and on our White Tail Deer Burgers. They have such a very distinct flavor compared to any other chilis that we have eaten. We have made our very first batch of Candied Hatch Chili Peppers that are fantastic.

Excellent product, very pleased. I live in CA and have a hard time finding stores, markets and vendors that provide good quality red chile pods. I do travel back to my home state of NM whenever I get the chance but do run out of my hatch products. I very much appreciate and recommend The Hatch Chile Store for their variety and quality of their Hatch chile products and their excellent packaging and shipping care. A++

Hatch green chile is my favorite! I prefer it very hot but have several friends here in CA who cannot take the heat and love the Hatch green mild. The Hatch Chile Store is the best! I have ordered a variety of Hatch chile products and will be ordering more.. Highly recommended A++

It arrived super fresh and clean. All had beautiful color and oohhh the wonderful aroma of roasting fresh hatch chili. We roasted outside at the pool bbq and heads were turning and the curiosity was high. I think we had a few coughing off the fumes. Great product and we’re happy to be able to pull a bag from the freezer and eat some good chili. Heat level is a good medium.

The Chili’s arrived fresh and a good condition. I roasted them and made the most delicious soup! Everyone commented on the fresh flavor. They were so easy to peel after roasting. I combined a recipe for New Mexico green chili soup and a more traditional posole. Delicious!

As we are transplanted New Mexicans, we always look forward to our fresh Hatch green chile! The Hatch Chile Store always sends us big, beautiful Big Jim green chiles and we order a total of 75 lbs which fills up our chile freezer and usually lasts us til the harvest next year. Our neighbors even look forward to that distinctive smell as we roast the chiles in our tabletop roaster in our driveway!

The chile came in a heavy box so no damage to the chiles. Of course, I like to say, hatch green chile is like a box of chocolates. You never know what you’re going to get. The chile was a little milder than expected but very tasty. Every now and then, you get a hot one. I always expect that. All and all, it’s super tasty and good. I will be ordering it again next season. Being from NM and living in NC, it’s great!!

Really high quality and delicious. I can't get Hatch chilis where I live. Not the best photo I took but it looks and tastes just as I member as a kid. I like a big bowl with diced raw white onions or I like to pour it over breakfast burritos.

Remember Hatch chillies will get you through times of no money better than money will get you through NO HATCH CHILLIES. Always good Roasted and delicious and get a good vacuum sealer so you can have year round

Shipping was sketchy. Chile arrived five days late. Despite that it was in great shape, just needed a little rehydration. It’s really hot and delicious this year, I am in heaven! Living so far away from New Mexico. I am so grateful to have this farm ship me good fresh chili year after year. I will definitely keep coming back.

This is our second year ordering, we got 50 pounds of hot and roasted them with friends before bagging and freezing them to last all year. Fast shipping, great price, and the chiles taste amazing. I’ll definitely preorder again next year!

We lived in New Mexico for 7 years and escaped, but I love the food. This was the first time I ordered in bulk like this and totally worth it. The shipping updates were timely and I knew when to expect my box. The contents were so much better than shopping at our Local Dillons as I have no idea where their "Hatch" chiles come from. I ordered HOT. I got HOT. We made a roasted green chile salsa that is to die for, as well as serving roasted peppers along a steak. So dang good.

The order arrived and was very fresh. We roasted 15 lbs and had chile Rellenos too. The other 10 lbs we shared with family and they enjoyed the chile.

Definitely hot just like we like it! Thank you for sending the email explaining the crops this year. It answered my question as to why they were small. They still roasted up nice and even the kids are requesting homemade green chili sauce!

Beautiful large chilis. Marked medium and they are! Roasted all of them on the smoker. Made a large chilis relleno casserole and a cupcake tray of egg bites for breakfast with about 15 chilis. The rest are in the freezer for winter meals to enjoy all season!

These Hatch Green Chilies are so nice and fresh. And very flavorful with the right amount of heat.

Right away I was attracted to the wonderful odor coming out of the box. I was impressed with the size and freshness. Some were used in a large batch of delicious salsa. I then roasted the rest and froze most of them. The aroma while roasting is seductive and I wanted to start eating them immediately. A couple of the roasted ones were used in a white bean chili that was wonderfully delicious . I will use the rest of the frozen ones in recipes during the winter. I hope I have enough.

Excellent product. The green chili (mild) tastes fresh and delicious. I eat it with or in so many of my meals. I lived for many years in New Mexico and then Arizona after being born and raised in Michigan. That is where I discovered green chilies, absolutely loved them. Still do, but now I can buy green chilies where ever I am in the USA. I find Hatch brand to be the best.
