The Proof Is in the Chile
The small table top roaster works great! Received the roaster in the afternoon along with my order of 25 lbs of green chile and finished roasting the next day. The roaster works better than the grill or broiler and is faster and does a better job. Then ordered 25 lbs of red. Thanks!
I ordered this roaster early this year in anticipation of roasting a whole box of fresh chiles when they became available in the fall. This is very well constructed, assembles quickly and will roast just about anything that you need to roast. Things like bell peppers, tomatoes, tomatillos, etc. Great product!
Well made and now we can order fresh green chile next year and roast it ourselves! We missed having it roasted after we moved from NM. And now we can once again enjoy the aroma of roasting Chile!
Recently received and used this Small Table Top Roaster and roasted some Red Hatch Chilis. The roaster worked well. I will advise that it may be good to sort the Chilis by size and roast them by size. I found that I over-roasted the smaller chilis while the larger ones were perfect.
We love this roaster. We only had 20lbs to roast so we made a great day of it. My daughter and I.
I have to move to another state and I am worried about getting my Chile fix. So, i ordered this. We haven’t roasted anything in it yet because we are moving, but we did test it and it works really well. I love it.
I ordered this roaster because we live in Colorado and went to the Chili festival in Pueblo for the second year and purchased 2 bushels of peppers. I wanted to roast faster then my grill would plus I can roast more at a time. I am very happy with the roaster and look forward to roasting more peppers and other veggies.
Fast shipping with no damage to table top roaster Ed.
The roaster was well made and roasts well!
Very easy set up. Very easy to use. Amazing end results! I highly recommend the small table top roaster. We used to do ours in the oven or use a kitchen hand burner. This is SO much easier and less messy and roasts the peppers just perfectly.
I bought the small one for my husband and me. We absolutely love it. Roasted chili’s in the evening with a cocktail and north breeze. I’ve bragged about it so much, I need two for Christmas gifts. Please let me know when you have more in stock.
Perfect for what we needed!
My mother in laws family is from New Mexico. They have been roasting hatch Chile for decades. A lot of her family have either moved out of state (we live in california) or have passed away. I bought the small table top roaster as a surprise gift for her. She loved it ! It worked great ! Very well built ! The chilies roasted perfectly !
Just received it today. Waiting for my chili order from you to use it. It looks great. Can’t wait. Will let you know. Have always loved your peppers. They are the best. Thank you.
Roaster FAQs
No — propane roasters are for outdoor use only. They produce open flame and exhaust. Always operate on a stable, non-flammable surface outdoors.
Heavy gloves for handling the hot cage, long sleeves, eye protection, and a spray bottle of water nearby just in case. Never roast in windy conditions — flames can be carried by wind.
Standard 1-year manufacturer warranty against defects. Tank, hose, and regulator are user-replaceable consumables.
The roaster is designed for chile but the flame works for bell peppers, eggplant, tomatoes — anything where you want flame-roasted skin to slip off easily.
Let it cool fully. Brush out ash and chile skins. Wipe down with a damp cloth (no soap on the inside of the firebox). Store dry. The cage rotates out for easy cleaning.
