How our bulk discounts work (Buy More Save More + Mix Match Save)

We run two separate volume-discount programs, and both apply automatically at checkout with no code needed. Buy More Save More (BMSM) is for our frozen Hatch chile — 20% off 2, 25% off 3, 30% off 4 or more. Mix Match Save (MMS) is for our jars, powders, pods, and nuts — 10% off 3+ items, 15% off 6+ items, and 20% off 12+ items. The two programs are tracked separately and don't combine across categories.

BMSM is frozen-only

Buy More Save More applies to our frozen chile products — our hand-peeled, fire-roasted Hatch chile in any heat level, whole or chopped, in any pack size.

Just add the frozen items to your cart — the discount appears at checkout. No code, no signup, nothing extra to do. Mixing heat levels and pack sizes is fine; every qualifying frozen item counts toward the tier.

MMS is for jars, powders, pods, and nuts

Mix Match Save applies to our shelf-stable products — jarred sauces and salsas, chile powders, dried pods, and pecans/pistachios/nuts.

Mix and match any qualifying products to hit the tiers — three different jars, or two powders and a bag of pecans, all count the same. Like BMSM, the discount is automatic at checkout.

The two programs are tracked separately

Frozen items count toward BMSM, jars and dry goods count toward MMS — they do not add together. For example, two frozen items plus three jars gets you 20% off the frozen (BMSM) and 10% off the jars (MMS), not a combined tier on everything.

This is intentional. Frozen and shelf-stable have different costs to source, store, and ship, so they each get their own discount track.

What doesn't qualify

Neither program applies to:

• Fresh chile
• Ristras, wreaths, and crosses
• Roasters
• Apparel and swag
• Gift cards

You can usually stack one promo code on top

Shopify allows one promo code per order, and most one-time codes (welcome, loyalty, seasonal) auto-stack with BMSM and MMS at checkout — except where the code's terms specifically say it can't be combined with other offers. If a code rejects, the cart's auto-applied tier discount usually stays in place.

When to contact us

Do I need a code to get the discount?

No. Both BMSM and MMS apply automatically once you have enough qualifying items in your cart. You'll see the discount on the order summary at checkout.

Can I combine BMSM and MMS into one bigger discount?

No, the two programs track separately. Frozen items get their BMSM tier and jars/dry goods get their MMS tier — they don't add together into a combined percentage.
