The Proof Is in the Chile
The 4 rating splits the difference between 5 & 3. Five because the pecans are delicious Three because the chile powder is quite disappointing. Very bland and absolutely no heat. Literally muddies up the pecan flavor. I’ll be adding my own spices after I rinse off the powder and dry the pecans. So: good nuts bad powder.
The flavor was good. I thought they would be spicier.
Pecan & Nut FAQs
New Mexico is the #2 pecan-producing state in the US, and most of our pecans come from regional Doña Ana / Luna County growers within an hour of our Deming warehouse. We hand-select for quality and freshness — no broken halves or oily nuts.
We coat them with real Hatch green chile powder and a touch of salt. The result: savory, slightly spicy, deeply nutty. Great as a snack, on salads, or chopped over a dessert. The chile heat is mild — even non-spicy fans like them.
Our raw pecans and pistachios are naturally gluten-free. Some coated / glazed nuts may contain wheat-based ingredients — check the ingredient list. Cross-contact is possible in our facility.
Yes. Most pecan products come in 8–32 oz sizes. For larger orders (5+ lbs), contact us directly for wholesale pricing and shipping quotes.
Reseal the bag and store in a cool, dry pantry. For the longest shelf life, refrigerate after opening or freeze for 6+ months of storage. Nuts go rancid faster in heat and humidity.
