Shipping Protection policy
Here's exactly what our optional Shipping Protection covers — and what it doesn't — so you can decide whether to add it to your next order.
We re-ship orders covered by our Shipping Protection offering when the package was lost, stolen, or damaged in transit. This protection does not extend to porch piracy, and a valid UPS delivery to your delivery address constitutes the end of the shipping protection.
Shipping Protection is extended to spoilage on perishable products only when you have opted for Overnight shipping. This includes both fresh green/red chile and all of our frozen products.
What to do if something goes wrong
If your package was lost in transit, arrived damaged, or your perishable order shipped Overnight arrived spoiled, see the matching guide:
- Where is my order? — lost or delayed packages.
- Order arrived damaged — broken jars, crushed boxes, ristra damage.
- Spoiled or thawed perishable — fresh or frozen arriving warm.
- Missing items from your order — short shipments.
