Shipping Protection - Policies
We re-ship orders covered by our Shipping Protection offering when the package was lost, stolen, or damaged in-transit. This protection does not extend to porch piracy, and a valid UPS delivery to your delivery address constitutes the end of the shipping protection.
Shipping protection is extended to spoilage on perishable products only when you have opted for Overnight shipping. This includes both fresh green/red chile and all of our frozen products. For example, if you opt for economy shipping and your box arrives late and is spoiled you are NOT covered. However, if you opt for overnight shipping and your box arrives late or thawed, you ARE COVERED if you also opted for shipping protection for your order.
This is not an insurance product, and is not underwritten by any party. This is a policy which applies to all orders containing the shipping protection product.
