Tortilla FAQs

Corn is traditional (gluten-free, slightly nutty, perfect for tacos and enchiladas). Flour is soft and pliable (best for burritos, quesadillas). Green chile has real Hatch green chile baked into the masa — distinctive flavor, gluten-free.

Amigo's Mexican Foods in Deming, NM — they've been the official tortilla supplier for the Deming Duck Race "Great American Tortilla Toss" for decades. Acquired by The Hatch Chile Store to expand our NM food production.

Corn tortillas and green chile tortillas: yes (masa is gluten-free). Flour tortillas: no.

Masa + real Hatch green chile + traditional ingredients. The green chile is mild, more flavor than heat. Great for breakfast tacos, quesadillas, or just warm with butter.

Yes — cut corn tortillas into wedges, fry in oil 350°F for 1–2 min per side, drain, salt. Fresh tortilla chips are dramatically better than store-bought.
