The packaged arrived in good condition. The chile was fresh' in great shape and mostly green. We had only one chile that had a blemish on the pod . The blemish was on the top of the chile ' so 90% of the pod was salvaged. We had some roasted pods as chile rellinos. Very meaty and tasty peppers.

Not only was the Chile packed and shipped promptly, but they were packaged in separate 1 pound, resealable, heavy-duty bags. love 'em... planning to use a bunch of the seeds and heads from the few "less than perfect" pods for garnish bag addition to soups, stews, chilis, and maybe a pot of two of pintos... the pods that came through in great shape are now in the freezer whole!! waiting for the weather in deep south GA to chill enough for me to "feel right" cooking 20 quarts of green chili stew!!

I just received my order of medium Fresh Hatch Green Chile. I roasted them on my back yard grill, let them cool, peeled, and seeded them. Sautéed some onion, green and red pepper in some olive oil. Added cubed potatoes and cubed pork shoulder and Hatch green chile. Once the pork was browned, I poured in some chicken broth and slowly simmered all of the ingredients. All I needed was my mom's homemade tortillas and I would have been in New Mexico Heaven!

Delicious, but potent! These freeze-dried chiles are of excellent quality, and great for adding to stews. Use with caution if you're not experienced with them, though! I made the mistake of adding an entire packet to my usual chili recipe, and the spice went through the roof in a hurry! :) These are wonderful, but make sure you take the time to get used to cooking with them!

This is probably the BEST hot sauce I have ever purchased. I honestly didn't expect it to be this good! The flavor is incredible. I use it just plain over eggs, but you can actually use it as a fantastic substitute for sofrito or sazon in any dish where you'd use those elements as a base (if you know you know). We have demolished the whole jar in less than a month, and will be ordering more soon!

For years, I purchased Chile Rellenos from TraderJoes, they were so delicious and not like any other prepared product I'd tried.

In 2020 TJ made the disappointing announcement they would discontinue the product. My sister in Los Angeles suggested I try your Hatch Chile Rellenos and I couldn't be more pleased with them--better than Trader Joe's!
