I have ordered these and the Tex-Mex tamales on a number occasions and they have always been delicious. I grew up eating tamales for the holidays and these are as good or better than the ones I grew up eating (sorry Grandma). I also appreciate the professionalism of the Hatch Co.

When we received the box of Chili’s that day it was hot weather some of the chilies had spoiled I save the rest unfortunately we did not take any pictures so the remaining chilies we’re OK thank you

We bought 10 lbs of the medium, we had some arrive with spoilage, even with the expedited shipping. More than that, we are disappointed the chilis have hardly any taste, and absolutely no heat at all. I would understand if we had ordered mild, but after trying 10 or so chilis, there is still no taste/heat….sadly, when used in dishes or in burritos/tacos/quesadillas, no taste.
Having lived in Santa Fe for years, this is not the chilis of yesteryear.😢. Hoping all the chilis are not like this, as our past order was very good.

First, they are more than mild. Some are closer to medium - not a complaint, I like both. The Hatch flavor is legendary. I lived in Las Cruces for 10 years, really miss the smell of roasting peppers during harvest time. And the easy access to real Hatch products. Moving to Florida, I thought I lost my Hatch peppers.
Then I ordered a box of your Hatch green chile. Almost like being home again. Really enjoyed roasting my own peppers, but, more than that, I now can have some of my favorite dishes!

Beautiful chiles. Very fresh and large. Opening the box was an aroma of New Mexico in chile season. They roasted nicely on our grill and are now bagged in the freezer. Thanks guys!!!

This is a consistent-tasting homogenous sauce that adds freshness and flavor to everything you use it on. It's a great topping for hand-helds, works great with garlic, pork and posole. I try to have a couple of jars on hand at all times. I won't waste the money on so-so sauces as there are some pretty good ones even in Atlanta. But this Red is worth the trouble.

Over the years away from New Mexico, I started having shipments of fresh chiles from different shippers. This year's shipment from the Hatch Chile Store was my first from this group and by far the freshest upon arrival of any prior years. I am a huge fan.

Love Hatch chiles! On my last order I tried the ice water bath method after roasting to facilitate peeling them. What a disaster! The skin stuck to the meat and areas that did not stick had completely dissolved. I will go back to my old way of peeling.

I like to get fresh hatch chilies every summer.
This was a great fresh batch, medium hot. I grill them, then peel and seed and wrap in flour tortillas w/cream cheese, then slice into pinwheels. Then make a pork green chilie stew. Then sauté with fresh corn off the cob. Then freeze the rest until winter!

These chiles were wonderful! As a transplant to south Texas from Colorado, we searched high and low for bushels of green chiles like they sell in roadside stands in Colorado in the fall. They have never heard of such thing here! So I preordered a box of Chile from The Hatch Chile Store. It took about two months for them to arrive, but as soon as they were delivered I was so excited! I could smell them as soon as I got to my mailbox. My husband made us a small Chile roaster so we could roast them like they do in CO. We had pork green Chile the night we roasted them and I ordered another 10lb box the next day! That way we’ll have enough to last us until next harvest!

Notification was good, chili arrived in great shape. Flavor is good this year as well. The only negative comment is that there were a few immature chili's in the box, which are thin and do not roast / peel well. Looking forward to my box of "red" Big Jim's this fall. 😋

For the past 3 years I've ordered a "care package" for my cousin and her 90+ year old Mother in central Missouri. Her Mother (my Mother's sister) was born and raised in Arizona, and is delighted to get to eat some of the dishes she grew up with prepared with FRESH chiles.
My cousin reports that all 3 years they've arrived fresh, beautiful and delicious. What more can you ask for?

We love these peppers! They are full of flavor and have just the right level of hotness for us. My husband makes a smoked meatloaf and adds chopped Hatch mild chiles to the meat mix. Delightful! They’re also fantastic on top of a plain hamburger with cheese.!

My husband and I were quite excited when we received the email inviting us to buy Hatch Chiles. We had the good fortune to have them roasted outside at our local nursery when we lived in Colorado. We ordered the chiles which were received fresh and quickly. I followed the directions to roast them (importantly, to put them in ice water to stop the cooking, and we now have several bags of roasted chiles, ready to use in our favorite dishes as the weather cools down ( in Minnesota!). When these are gone, you can count on our buying more! Thank you for the opportunity!!

My Chile's arrived in good health. Beautiful and plump. I roasted them on my stove top, peeled and cleaned them, then stored them in my freezer until ready to use.

Another year of contentment with "real" Hatch chili. I was raised in southwest NM. I know what a Hatch chili is supposed to taste like. I loathe that vegetable stands & grocery stores try to pass their chili for Hatch. Shame on them. Again, thank you for the order!

I’ve just made a pot of Pork Green Chile Stew! I love having packs of Hatch green chiles in my freezer. After I roast them on my charcoal grill, I clean and pack them flat on a large piece of wax paper. Then I tear squares of wax paper and use them to separate the peppers when I stack them 4-5 high. I then wrap the stack in the wax paper base, closing the ends. Next comes the Food Saver operation where I vacuum pack each stack. The flat packages are then frozen, ready to use. I received a 5lb fresh box of green chiles. Not a bad one in the bunch. My first Hatch chiles ever. They are so flavorful and versatile. I’m looking forward to the reds when they are ready. Customer service is great and so friendly. I highly recommend ordering from these fine folks.

We received 2 orders this year. We had a lot of waste with the first so on the 2nd order we paid for 2 day “guaranteed fresh” delivery. We still lost 19 whole Chili’s and many more half of the chili. We do love these chili’s and will probably continue to order but I will not pay the extra for shipping as it may no difference in my waste. Nothing tastes as good as Hatch Chili’s

We sent the Hatch green chile to our son who lives in Seattle - it was for his birthday. To this point, he had only been finding it canned at one of the local stores (I think Whole Foods). He was ecstatic when he received it. He said it smelled "amazing" and he could hardly wait to crank up the grill. We love Hatch and buy it fresh, freeze it and love to use it in our waffle batter - just the best! Thank you!
