I've tried a few other companies for hatch green chiles, but none of them deliver the same quality and taste as y'all. My only complaint is that I don't have enough freezer storage so I can buy and store more peppers!

The chile arrived on time and only took two days to get to me, from the time it was shipped. When it arrived, it was fresh and appeared to have been picked recently. Overall, this is a great way to buy fresh chile if you’re out of state. I would definitely buy from the Hatch Chile Store again and I’m recommending you to other New Mexicans living out of state. Chiles arrived in great condition. Out of the 5 lbs I only had 2 peppers with soft spots the rest were perfect.
Arrived within a few days of ordering. They were huge, some of the peppers were over 9 inches long. I buy these every year as a birthday gift for my husband. Great idea for the person who has everything and loves chile peppers.

Great - had my first fix - fixed it with pork - just like my Mom used to do - so good. When I was growing up, in Raton, NM, they called them anaheim. Is that the same as your Hatch chile? Seems & tastes the same. Whatever the name, I love it. Thank you.

Normally, I’d give a 5 but, about 1/4 of the box was bad. I paid for the expedited shipping so this wouldn’t happen and it did. This happened last year as well. The chilies that I was able to save are delicious! I roasted and froze them the day they came in. This is my 4th year ordering from this site, hopefully next year I will get better sustainability with the expedited shipping.

Order a box every year, then roast them, and freeze them for a long winter of great flavor. These chiles are always nice and fresh so that ground shipping even to East coast is fast enough to lose very few if any during transport.

Minnesota does not have any Hatch Chile anywhere. Knowing that I can get some chili delivered directly from Hatch Valley is such a blessing! There was a little bit of spoilage and without any questions asked I was sent a replacement for the spoilage! Great customer service and quality!

We live in WV and order every year from Hatch. We always pay the extra for overnight shipping and the chile arrives fresh and ready to roast. (we learned early on that you have to pay for that quicker shipping)

It was amazing to get the taste of home in late summer on the east coast! The chilies were easy to roast on the grill and taste amazing. The customer service was incredible and they replaced the 3ish pounds of spoilage that I had the very next week!

I was not satisfied at the beginning they had shipment problems but that had nothing to do with hatch the chili store. The chilies came in without dry ice and they were warm I contacted the store and sent me out a box the next day. I will use this service over and over.

Had a local Mexican restaurant make 30 Chili Rellenos and 20 Green Chili Tamales. They use Poblano peppers here. Not the same as Hatch Greens. They are by far the best. We had Chili Rellenos in Cozumel, Mexico 🇲🇽 and no one outside of New Mexico knows yours are the best. Lived in Silver City for 5 years and NEVER missed the festival in September. I love being able to get Hatch green chilies in West Virginia. I grew up in Colorado and this time of the year there were roasters in almost every grocery store parking lot...West Virginia, well no! I have ordered chile ristra before and loved it. This time I paid extra to have it coated, and it looks awesome in that respect. I couldn't give 5 stars this time because it was not wrapped in the box, and some of them fell off. Also, my last ristra was shaped very nicely with raffia securely attached. This time it was kind of crooked and not as full at the top as before. Also, I had to secure the raffia and it wasn't as full as the last one. Just overall (except for the coating) not as nice as before.

These sort of fell apart when trying to steam them (I used a steamer basket and of course kept the tamales in their little blankets) They also had less chicken filling than the tamale company I’m used to, so several times all you could taste was the masa.
