These were a dream to roast! Neighbors came out to ask what deliciousness we were grilling! We are planning to have our first green chile chicken enchiladas with some of this batch on Wednesday. I have no doubt they will rank among the very best GCCE's ever!

Best quality/freshness I have ever seen.
Every pepper was as though it was picked the same morning it was shipped.
Only tossed one pepper that was the only one in the entire box that was a little mushy.
I was very impressed with the Quality, never seen fresher peppers than this, and they were exactly what I had ordered x-hot, great flavor and crunchy crispness.
Would recommend to anyone, with flying colors. Buy them here, you won't be disappointed, but rather quite impressed.

I moved from Colorado back to the East Coast and the one thing I missed most was Hatch Chiles! I ordered 25 lbs. They were delivered timely and were in great condition. We've roasted or smoked them all and froze the ones we couldn't eat right away. All winter I'll be able to have a taste of the west! Highly recommend the Hatch Chile Store.

I had 2 day delivery on my initial order and it came in several days late. The fruit was in poor condition. Subsequent orders, which were also 2 day delivery, arrived in poor condition. I would not order this product again due the quality and cost of 2 day shipping. If the fruit were to arrive fresh, I don't mind paying extra for shipping. The quality of fruit was poor after repeat mailings.

I ordered the 10 pound box the day after I received and put up my 5 pound box; that should say it all. Every pod was perfect, meaty, full of flavor and mild. We love green chile but we can't take the heat of hotter varieties and this was just right. I have no doubt I'll be preordering a 20 pound box next spring which means I'd better get a bigger grill for roasting. Thanks for making a bit of New Mexican goodness something that can still be enjoyed from afar.

After growing up in southern AZ, and then serving my first military assignment in Albuquerque, we have always LOVED the taste and tingle of a nice hot green chile. Whether it be in tacos, casseroles, quesadillas, etc., it is something we crave. Now living in Wyoming, they're harder to find. With 20 pounds of fresh, hot green chiles delivered, I fired up the grill with lots of mesquite wood chunks and roasted them all to peel and freeze so we're prepared for the winter. It took me two days with the size of my grill. Worth every second. All of the chilies survived shipping easily and came to us in great shape. It's just great to know, even comforting in a way, that we can get high quality, properly hot green chilies. Thanks for the salvation!!

Asked for late harvest to get the extra zing. Lots of big straight peppers in the box. Roast, peel, vacuum seal and freeze. Perfect for rellenos. Canned the balance of the box for "whatever " use. Next year I'll buy more.

First off, I’m eating a green chile frito pie as I write this review. I lived in NM from 1990 to 1996...and getting 75 lbs of fresh green delivered each year keeps me in the chile every day!!! The Lumbre is delicious. Spicy, but not too hot to eat on it’s own on eggs, a burger, or whipped into a salsa. And so, so flavorful. I roast, peel and freeze the chiles to use year round. Don’t know what I’d do without it-!
