Was thrilled to find Hatch Chile Store. Been missing my hatch Chile's since leaving NM. Just how I remembered them and didn't have to roast/peel them either.

I buy these for my son and daughter in law, who's from New Mexico. They said this most recent batch wasn't really hot enough to be "medium"hot", but they were still wonderful and flavorful, and would be grateful if I sent another 10-20 pounds. :-D

Awesome peppers, perfect amount of heat and flavor. The reason I didn't rate Very Good was because quality control needs to be a bit better. Out of the 5lb box I received, at least half a pound (3-4 peppers) were rotted and had to be thrown away.

Out of a 10 lbs box there were only a few bad chilies. We were very happy with the Chilies otherwise. They made great green chilie sauce. We will definitely go up in heat level next time.

For the hot head’s out there like I am Sandia is the only pepper that has the heat! Their Lumbre peppers were so disappointing that I would call MAYBE A MEDIUM HEAT AT BEST, I had to order 10lbs of Sandia just to get the 25lbs of Lumbre to an acceptable heat level that I like. So if I buy again from the HATCH CHILE STORE I WILL ONLY BUY THE SANDIA PEPPERS THAT I KNOW HAVE THE HEAT I LOOK FOR.

You were proactive in delaying shipping my order because of Hurricane Florence. And that was GREAT. Had you shipped normal lead time to me in N.C., it probably would have been on a FedEx dock for at least a week.
So because of what you did, my Big Jim’s arrived in GREAT shape.
So thanks of thinking about your customers.
And BTW, the chili’s are DEEELICIOUS.

I received these chilies in vacuumed packs in which i took out of the box and placed into the freezer. when i use them i take them out of the freezer to thaw naturally and they are the best flavor and taste... i use the mild chilies because we can not handle hot any more and they are just delicious. they are whole roasted and i can make stuffed chilis thank you very much

chiles were good, pretty happy with them overall. they were not as hot as I expected for a medium. they could have easily been marketed as a mild chile.

the delivery was not very good, i ordered 2 cases and only one was shipped. i had to call a week later only to find out the second case was never shipped out.

We live in Connecticurt but my husband lived in Albuquerque for many years. He deeply misses New Mexican food and especially chili rellenos. His birthday is in September and I thought that since it was Hatch chili season I would see if there was a way to get them delivered fresh to Connecticut. My search lead me to the Hatch Chili Store. I placed my order and honestly was not sure of the condition in which they would arrive. What a pleasant surprise! So fresh, so delicious, and the most amazing smell. My husband was so surprised to have hatch chili rellenos for his birthday. I am sure this is the beginning of a new birthday tradition.

Have gotten Hatch chile since I can remember. They are the best. Flash frozen or fresh...it's still the same great taste. Believe me, you won't be disappointed.

I was born and raised in El Paso, Texas so I've know about hatch green chiles all my life. When I moved away, one of the food I really missed was fresh green Chile. About 6 years ago, I had a friend send me your chiles every year. I decided to start buying them from you this year. It was an easy process ordering them and although both boxes of my chiles didn't arrive at the same time, customer service took care of me and made sure I got my second both. Everyone needs to order these every Septmber. Sooo good and a great company. Thank tou

Ordering and shipping was easy. The roasted chiles were on dry ice, so they stayed cold during shipping. The chiles are packaged in 1-lb packages, which is very convenient for using them a little at a time. And most importantly, the chiles are delicious!

My husband is very picky about his green chili. You did not disappoint! It’s like living in the west and eating the chili from his home state of WY. The smell of the green sauce was unexpected: real roasted chili’s! I can’t wait to get get more chili’s next year to roast outside and make some great port chop chili!
