These are perfect! Great flavor and nicely packaged. Thank you so much for the online store. We recently moved to Texas so I was not looking forward to driving and packing it in a hotel. Little more expensive this was but to a NM girl, it is so worth it! Plus I don't have to peel it or pack it.

I really enjoy cooking Mexican food and Real Hatch Green Chile is the only way to get that authentic flavor and savory goodness. Isolated here on the east coast finding any form of good chili pepper is difficult. These Big Jim Green Chili's are the centerpiece of my recipe's for enchiladas, tacos, burritios, chili con carne, and most especial is "Bistek con Queso". One of my signature dishes, not bad for an Irish boy getting requests from his friends. Hatch Green Chili is the ONLY way to cook authentic.

If you buy hot chile and all you can say about it is that it was hot, you are missing the whole point of true New Mexico Hatch Green Chile . . . really good Hatch chile is not only hot but very flavorful; the kind of flavor that you can only get from the Mesilla Valley. This supplier has sent me only the highest quality Hatch chile available on the plane,t and I am very, very grateful--it is comfort food for my entire family.

These rellenos are super good. Easy to prepare.
Hubby can only eat soft things. So I wasn't sure if he'd be able to enjoy these. I put a little bit of water in the Pan after Pan Frying for a little bit and they were soft enough for him to eat. The rest of us like the crunchy and it's perfect for the whole family. Seemed a little expensive, but definitely Worth it.

The chilies were delicious. The breading was not so good. Tried to bake the rellenos. So dry and flavorless. So, tried frying them. Also, still dry and flavorless. Would not recommend getting the rellenos. Ended up taking off breading and using the chilies to make burritos.

They all came fresh and in good condition. They are hot, but not incredibly so. The flavor is great. I roasted them, diced them up and made a huge pot of Chuy’s Chicka Chicka Boom Boom Sauce. I was able to vacuum seal and freeze ten two cup portions. I think I’ll get a 10 pound box next year!

Wow, these were some big chiles. I shared some with friends, and made a bunch of thigs with them, using recipes I have been saving. Very tasty, but NOT at all hot. They were described as medium-hot. I admit I like things hot, and maybe my palate is altered, but I perceived no hotness. Just good flavor. Maybe next year I'll order a hotter variety.

I look forward to the beginning of chili season every year. Now that we’ve moved away from New Mexico, I can still relive the smells of roasted chili and the green chili taste that I so desperately miss. The chilies are shipped when they are promised, and they arrive in what looks to be, just picked condition.

Fantastic. Once a year I look forward to a new batch. Blistered and skinned the whole case with all but 5 or 6 into vacuums seal bags and frozen. Made a couple hatch cheeseburgers with the fresh chilis. Once a year treat with fresh chilis. Can't be beat. I'll be back for next years' preorder.

Big Jim lacked its usual temperature this season. Disappointed that it was not hotter. Very sweet and delicious but lacked what my taste buds were expecting.

I loved my chiles, and thought that I had ordered the peeled, frozen kind and got the whole fresh kind. Sort of different, buy now I am learning how to handle the fresh. Next time I order though I will be more careful. Love your chiles.

After living in NM for several years, I fell in love with Hatch chile. We have some stores that sell what they say is Hatch, but it isn't big on flavor. This batch is amazing and we are almost out already. I love knowing that we are helping farmers directly!

Got hooked on green Chile’s while in New Mexico,, so yearly I order fresh green to roast here in West Virginia, love and miss that smell.. these green Chile’s meet my yearly need, though, I often order more than 10lbs, great product and fast shopping

Chile’s were good sized, arrived as promised, amazing flavor & good heat (too hot for my elderly parents so have to use sparingly when cooking for them and add extra to my own, but the hatch flavor is amazing). I ordered my chile’s fresh & then roasted when they arrived to my home in Arizona...nothing smells better & reminds me of my childhood in Albuquerque. I will definitely be ordering from you again next season!

I’ve been ordering my Big Jim’s from the Hatch Chile Store for 25 years! Ever since I was transplanted to Connecticut. Roast them and freeze them to get through the year!

As always the chilis made it here to Tennessee in great shape. I roasted them on the grill and they are safely tucked away for my winter cravings. Unfortunately they were not big enough for chili relleno and I wasn't able to make my authentic rellenos. I know that each year is different so I will have to use grocery store chilis and use the chopped chilies for sauce.

I paid the extra money to have them shipped fresh. There were quite a few very rotten and some of those leaked all over the others. I love the chilies but honestly can afford to spend the kind of money for 25 lbs and only get 15 out of it. I understand it’s a long ways but I think I’ll jus wait until they come to the store next year.
