Everything here comes from the Hatch Valley in New Mexico — grown on farms in the same valley where Joseph Franzoy planted the first commercial Hatch chile crop in 1917, a tradition our family has carried forward for five generations. The chile is processed at our packing shed in Garfield, NM; the frozen items are made at Amigo's Mexican Foods in Deming, NM, a USDA-inspected facility that has been making New Mexican food since 1978.

I ordered my Ristra after visiting Sante Fe NM. They are everywhere as decorations but hard to find to buy. The Ristras that I'd seen looked a lot different than the one I received from Hatch Chilli.
