Good flavor, just a little heat. Although I am not sure I'd call the heat level medium. But the mild had no heat at all. Sill, heat level very consistent with last year's batch.

Somewhat disappointed in this batch I just bought. Thick and leathery with much less flavor than previously. Hotness is not there either. Did something happen? Is this from a third party source? Your previous batches were excellent. This one not so much. How do I avoid this without having to check out alternative sources? Please advise.

Peppers came quickly, fresh and ready to roast! I have not used them in my cooking yet, but it won't be long before I do! Nothing beats a Hatch Green Chile and they are hard to come by here in the Midwest.

Hate to leave a "bad" review, but this year's (2018) Lumbre is just not hot. Last year the Lumbre was literally the hottest chile I have ever eaten, and not to mention the most flavorful! I loved it! Just a little bit would give kick to everything. While this year's does have very good flavor, it is not worthy of the "X-hot" name. In fact, I also ordered some Sandias, and those are just as hot if not hotter than the Lumbres.

I gave my experience a 2 because I got my chilis and customer service is great. This is my 3rd year ordering from you. I was born in and raised in the southwest so I consider myself experienced in all things chili. This was the second shipment after your first didn't seem up to your usual standard. Unfortunately, the second was worse. Over half had ripened to the point of being red and the box was soaked through because about 1/4 of them were completely rotten. I don't want another replacement but I'm probably not going to be ordering fresh ones again. I paid $70 for 10 lb so they would get here quickly and be fresh. If I order again I will probably order frozen ones. This will be fine for green chili stew but I will definitely miss my yearly chili relleno party. Thank you for always doing your best to satisfy.

I ordered Red Chiles from Hatch Chile several years ago, they were terrible. They arrived in a box winkled and not smelling very good. Out of 25 lb. yielded 8 lb. of cleaned chilies. This year we wanted more red, so I placed an order and was very happy with the product. They arrived roasted and packaged per lb. in plastic bags, and shipped in dry ice. Hatch Chile has greatly improved the chilies and the shipping process.
I will be purchasing this same order next year.

Great chiles. Mild and meaty with good flavor. Chile arrived in reasonable shape with only a handful that were giing bad. Not bad fit being in a remote town in Washington state. I will order again next year.

Very nice. Chile was a little milder this year than the past couple if years. A little sweet flavored this year too. Chiles were nice and big and arrived in good shape. Coordination of shipping dates for the pre orders would be helpful, as I was out if town when my fresh chile rocked up.
