The chiles are great, but the site is not altogether clear about the choice between whole chiles and chopped, The "chopped vs peeled" toggle is in the "add to cart" page and is confusing ("peeled" means "whole" and appears to be the default choice). It is also easily missed on Mobile. Make sure you order carefully - at $18 lb with no returns, you get what you get.

The roasted mild green Chile is absolutely the best Chile we have ever had! We mix the Chile with eggs, potatoes, on top of steaks and hamburgers, in homemade dips and in homemade Chile. It simply does not get any better. It comes already roasted and chopped. The Chile Store does a great job of roasting!

We received the green Chile rellenos and the package was open and the rellenos were damaged. We called Hatch Chile Store and talked to Taylor. She promptly replaced them, at no charge and no questions asked. Now that is customer service!! The Chile Rellenos were fabulous! The Rellenos wrap is perfect. We cooked them to have a nice, crisp coating and they were absolutely the BEST we have ever tasted. Wow!! What a treat.

I’m sorry to say I was very disappointed in the quality of my chili’s. I bought both hot and medium. Not hot at all and they must be old because the chili was a very dark red. I am from New Mexico and really look forward to making it. It wasn’t a nice red color and no flavor. I believe it was old.

On ordering chiles this year, the first thing I noticed with surprise is that you haven't raised the prices. The second thing I noticed with disappointment is that you have raised the prices. Understandable enough, although doing it by adding two new charges does feel just a bit on the underhanded side. Oh weil, I can live with that. But your website really should explain what the ShipAid thing actually is. Reading the fine print, it says it doesn't guarantee anything. It seems that all it does is provide shipment tracking information to you. But UPS already does that, so what gives?

The Rellenos are awesome. Great flavor and value for price paid. Really makes me happy to be able to enjoy them throughout the year and feel a taste of home here in NC. Sure, the Mexican restaurants here have Chile Rellenos but they all use Poblano Chili's that look like hockey pucks with no flavor.

My family grew up in New Mexico, and we love green chili chicken enchiladas, rolled and stacked. These last couple of batches have been some of the best green chili I've ever had, very flavorful and super hot. I also make green chili bacon cheeseburgers, so good!

I wanted to order the medium hot variety like I usually do, but they were “sold out”. These are much too hot for us, they overwhelm the taste of everything else and make your mouth go numb. I wish they would grow more of the medium hot and not run out.

I have been eating Hatch Green Chile for the past 40 or more years. Since my first introduction to Hatch Chiles in the 1970’s, we have always kept a supply in our freezer because we live in Alaska and aren’t always able to get fresh roasted Chile’s during the season to process ourselves. When we can, we do get the fresh chiles as we are addicted to the unique Hatch flavor. We order frozen chopped chiles, either Big Jims or Joe Parker’s, as they process and freeze them as well as we can. Of course we miss the opportunity to have them fresh during season, but we need to have a continuous supply as we eat green chile several times a week in some way or another. We don’t order the hot because our friends and acquaintances here in Alaska who may share a meal with us having Hatch chiles in the recipe, are not conditioned to the hottest varieties of Hatch chiles as the locals in New Mexico. Thank you for providing us quality green chile. Sign us, “in love with Hatch”

The chiles arrived frozen solid and beautifully individually packaged in 1 pound packages. They were great! Only request would be if was possible to package without the styrofoam cooler. I know this is how you're able to ensure their quality and it was fantastic! It was as if I'd just taken them out of my freezer, if not colder! It's just that styrofoam cannot be recycled and just ends up in the landfill. Wonderful product!

This product is absolutely terrific. I grow (or try to) Hatch Peppers in southern Oregon but they are a shadow of the size of these. Plus, hours of grilling them on the bbq and then hours more of peeling them? Enough! Let the pros send them monthly, peeled and conveniently packaged.
I previously ordered Medium Hot and then changed to the Hot for my monthly subscription. BUT I switched back again so I could put more of their yummy flavor into dishes wo overheating the meal.

These tamales are a good mix of seasoned pork and masa. Though a bit pricey, they are good and satisfying. These tamales are actually made by Amigo's Foods of Deming NM. 4 stars for the tamales. 5 Stars for the Hatch Chile Store, where I have gotten excellent chopped sandia (hot) green chiles several times.

With over 2,000 likes on Facebook, I can say this ristra was the best investment. Beautiful! I had it treated as it was for decoration. There are only 2 of us, and I am the only one to eat red Chile. Plan on ordering another ristra....not treated so I can make some Chile. Highly recommend!
