I used to live in CO now I’m in NY and am so thankful you ship. I absolutely love these green chilies. I used to get the fresh roasted from a farm stand in CO. I can’t get them in upstate NY. I always have them in my freezer. Thanks again I use them in everything I make where I add onions chilies go in as well

Delicious, large, plump pods. My only wish is that they were a bit hotter. Some years are cooler years and in my experience that seems to be the case this year (2022). Wonderful flavor though and may just add a few Sandias to spice them up a bit.

Only thing was how much of chili had turned bad and paying extra to avoid it. Chilis were quite taste though.

These chiles arrived fresh and were thick, meaty and flavorful. Only a handfull at the bottom (6 or 7) didn't travel well and were starting to wilt in spots. They roasted well and I used the idea from a video on your website to give them an ice bath to remove the skin easily. Worked great!

These are beautiful peppers! Great product. I had some damaged peppers at the bottom of my box, and they sent me a replacement the following week. The product and service are A+. I will be ordering again next season.

These were great and arrived in good condition. Fire roasted them and they are now in a crock fermenting a chile mash that will last over 12 months refrigerated and give me the ability to use the chile mash for different dishes and directions to take this flavor profile.

Love them..the only problem was that they took a day longer to get here, not Hatches fault, and it was hot so some of them looked a little sad..but I roasted them and canned them and they are still yummy

Anytime a birthday gift to my husband gives me such JOY is a good time. Thank you for your very hard work. Can we invite ourselves to your home for dinner sometime?

These are great-- though maybe not quite as hot as we'd prefer, so we ordered a batch of X-Hot which should arrive in a week or so (yippee!). These, along with our other order of Medium chiles will work fine, but if you like 'em HOT-- I suggest X-Hot this year (changes from year to year). Thx!

I must say that these tamales are likely the BEST tamales I've ever had. We lived in Santa Fe for years and had a lady friend (from Mexico) who'd make tamales for us from time to time-- hers were really fabulous, but-- I think these tamales may even have hers beat. They're so good, they'll make your tongue nervous! They're light and fluffy, not too greasy-- not heavy nor too fatty. Just fantastically delicious-- and very satisfying!!
Thank you ~

I now live in Florida but not by choice I might add. My aging parents moved here in 1975 with my help and my husband and I moved to Albuquerque in Feb. 1976. I moved to Florida in 1999 to help aging parents but I can't live with my "Hatch", so I order it, 5 lbs. at a time!

The chiles arrived in two days in perfect condition. There were exactly 100 chiles, down from 137 Big Jim last year, and 226 Sandia the year before. I roasted the chiles using 3 chimney starters of charcoal which made for a blazing fire and an hour and a half of roasting time. I wrapped the charred chiles in a sheet, and when cooled down put them in the freezer in zip lock bags. My only confusion is that they were advertised as Big Jim and Charger, but now they are showing as Joe Parker. My understanding is that Joe Parker is a mild variety. The taste is excellent but they do seem on the mild side of medium. I've been adding jalapenos and serranos to jazz them up. I wish I could order a 25-pound box with a variety of medium, hot, and xhot, a grab bag so to speak. That would be awesome!

Same great chiles as always, but there were a lot of rotten ones this year, almost a quarter of the box. Yes, I got two-day delivery, stored them in a cool place, and roasted them two days after receiving them. I presume the unusual spoilage was because the weather has been so hot. I will still order again next year, and hope the weather is a little milder when I get them.

About half of the order had spoilage so we roasted and chopped them up. We prefer whole chiles for rellenos so I don’t expect to order fresh chiles again. The weather was hot and we’re on the other side of the country so it was a long journey.

First, the original box was damaged during shipping and when I worked with customer support to replace the order, the only way to get a new shipment was to pay premium shipping, so I did so I can get my order. My order arrived today and I ended up with the wrong chilies. Mild chili instead of medium. Too much work for no flavor. I am so disappointed this year. I have never had an issue before. It will be a while before I place an order again.

Maybe I’ll try ordering later in the season or request a later delivery date can I do that ?

As a displaced person who grew up in New Mexico, I miss the Chili. I bought a jar as it sounded interesting and we are not disappointed. Like my wife said, it has the right amount of zing. Have had it on burgers, green Chili cheese of course, and fries and enjoyed every bit of the hatchup.

Hatch green chili store is the one you want to buy from because they are a small family owned company and they’re incredibly professional.

Overall the quality of the fresh chile was fine. There were about 8 that were broken or crushed. My real concern was that they all were quite moist and I had to trim off mushy pieces before using.
I love Hatch and have never had a problem in the past so will continue to be a customer but this last delivery was a bit disappointing.

These chiles add a taste of NM to so many dishes. We discovered green chile pizza on our last visit and that’s now a staple in our house, but we also make chile verde and other wonderful NM dishes. We love having a stash in the freezer for when we have a green chile craving. The product is wonderful and the customer service is also fantastic.
