The peppers came just as expected. Solid freeze. Packaging was excellent with dry ice. Have used the first package and they were delicious! This is the third time I have ordered Hatch Chiles and I have always been more than satisfied. If you can't get your fix by living in New Mexico, this is the next best thing to being there!

Everything was top notch. I ordered the Medium heat, and admittedly, it was too mild. Nevertheless, the green chili flavor was distinct and delicious. Next time I will ask them about the heat levels. This year came and was not xtra hot like last year. I guess thats weather dependent. The store itself seems to have caring staff no complaints here. The UPS has been a constant problem though. Late deliveries impacting the quality. This year the fresh chile showed up with frost on it and was clearly frozen at some point. The chile when thawed turned to pure water and over half completely wilted. Basically unroastable

I was so happy to receive my first shipment of chili!! It arrived on time - still completely frozen! When I thawed out the first bag (immediately) and tasted them - I was in HEAVEN!! They were the perfect heat for me and tasted delicious!! I could smell the scent of roasting coming from the bag!! I'm looking forward to my next shipment already!! I normally don't write reviews. In restaurants these are always greasy, all breading, and so mediocre I knew they couldn't possibly be done correctly and be such a iconic dish. I've never been out west to have the real deal so I ordered these. Wow! You can taste the chilie! Its not paper thin and buried in breading to the point its a glorified cheese stick. The downside...I will have to keep buying these and they aren't exactly cheap.
