Got the shipment yesterday and I've been roasting it today. It came very fresh and the peppers were very high quality. Truly a hot pepper, and just the way I like it. It's so delicious and has been roasting and peeling really well. I might order another 25 pounds :-)

I bought 10lbs and had it shipped to me in Chicago via 2 day. Fed ex dropped the ball with my shipment but the Hatch Green Chile store got right on it and sent the replacement right away. Love these green chiles! I have been ordering for the last few years and this is my go to place during Chile season! Never disappointed.

I was notified that this year’s crop was “on the mild side” and advised to “order one heat level higher”. So, we ordered the hottest variety available as we live for the heat…

The 25 lb box arrived in good shape and we proceeded to roast the chilies immediately (a lot of work to roast and peel 25lbs!).

Finally, a first taste… no heat. Zero. Not even a mild level of heat…. Soooo disappointing!

We look forward to Chile harvest season every year. And, since moving to Ohio from NM years ago, we pay the extra cost to have Chile shipped. We plan a Chile-fest and invite our friends over to share numerous recipes and a Chile themed bar-b-que. This is the second year in a row that the Chile supplied by the Green Chile Store has disappointed due to the lack of heat/flavor.

Note: our friends and family in NM indicate that they had no problem securing Chile this year that packed a solid heat. Fortunately, we received a “care package” from family that was Awesome (my forehead sweating kind of awesome!).

We emailed the company to express our dissatisfaction and got no response whatsoever.

So, after 2 years of disappointment (and hundreds of $$ ), we need to find another source to satisfy our Chile fix…

Everything that comes with the shipping was done to a tee. The chilis and salsa came just as they said it would. The chilis were as fresh as if I had picked them from the plant myself. The first recipe that I try will be the green chile stew. Also, I must comment that the website is just beautiful. Very well done!

The salsa came just in time for my taco party. The salsa was a hit and the whole jar was eaten that night.
Just the right amount of heat but enormous in flavor. I will buy it again for sure.

Never received. Called to let a person know and took two weeks before I called again since the seasons about to end and was told that the first time I called they never shipped my order second time they said it would be expedited and still waiting on a confirmation shipment email. Sucks to be stationed away from home spending over 200 dollars and waiting almost a month to receive it. The hot green Chile is great.

Born and raised in Las Cruces, helped build the plant in Garfield. The red sauce reminds me of the burrito's that Bobby's wife brought out to us one night when we had to work late. Live outside of Seattle now, there is nothing like Hatch Chile, Ol Gringo is the best.

My husband introduced me to Green chili 20 years ago and I fell in love with it. I can not get enough of this chili. I love roasting it and surely don’t mind peeling it! If the shipping rates weren’t so high I’d buy 25lbs a month. It’s so delicious and I love all the health benefits it offers!

The Big Jim chiles were definitely in the Medium to Hot range, unlike last year when they were Mild. Our 25 lb order will last us well over a year, but we will be back next year with another order.

It is also fun to receive your recipes, but some of them have unusual combinations. Maybe it's a matter of imagination, but why mess with such a great product?

It was the first time that we ordered from the Hatch Chile Store and we were thrilled with the product. The chilies were fresh, there was no spoilage, and they were absolutely wonderful. We got them roasted and in the freezer with no problem. We are already thinking our order might be larger next year!
Thanks so much for such a great product.

This was my second order of green Chile this year. Such great flavor. I roast my chiles, then freeze them. We then enjoy them all year making green Chile enchiladas, pork green Chile stew, green Chile tamales - obviously we love these chiles. They always come fresh like I just ran down to the store to pick them up. Definitely paying the extra shipping for 2 day delivery is worth it
