It took over 3 days to arrive (not shipped express). The pizzas were thawed out and starting to stink. I was told that the only option was to pay another $20 for express shipping. That would net out to just about $14 for each 10" pizza. No thanks!

We love the hatch chiles, Ms Laura doesn’t like the heat so I ordered the mild. myself , I like a little heat so I made another order for the medium . They were roasted immediately and put in the freezer so that we can have them till next season . I cook them in grits , stews, cornbread, eggs they’re great in numerous foods I usually try to order enough to be able to give some to our neighbors ( showing some love) your hatch chiles have a great flavor and I like it that they are family owned

I have ordered a lot of chiles over the years and they have always arrived fresh and in great condition. My last order for some Red Mediums were shipped over a week ago and I still haven’t received them in California via FedEx. I’m not too hopeful they will still be edible. A word of caution to anyone still depending on FedEx to deliver on time.

As it was the first time that I did fresh red chile, I was disapointed on the amount of meat that was on the chiles. I had about two pounds that I had to throw away because they were rotten. I had ordered before fresh green chiles and I had no problems with them. I will not be ordering any more fresh red chiles.

This was my first time ordering fresh Hatch Green Chile and my first time flame roasting them. The chiles arrived in perfect condition. After washing them, I flame roasted the entire batch on a Treager Pellet Grill on a setting of 350 deg F. I kept turning until they were charred then cooled in a paper bag and peeled the skins. They were truly mild and tasted AWESOME. Over a two week period I used them all in soups, omelettes, etc. I wish I had made photos to share.

The whole batch was destroyed. I’m assuming it was the way the chilies where packages and sent. We had some recipes we were excited to try, considering we can’t find hatch chilies anywhere in this region. We were disappointed.

These chiles still have a little kick to them but oh how they enhance whatever it is you're making with their flavor included. We totally love these and wish I hadn't shared them with friends now. I want MORE.. but as is the end of season there aren't many left. We also purchased 5 lbs of medium so that will keep us going for some time.

Don't hesitate purchasing these. The Hatch Chile Store is the real deal and their customer service is the best out there.

I am not too crazy about tomatoes so the red hatch chilies give it the look of red tomatoes mixed with the green hatch chilies.
The extra cost for earlier delivery made the red chilies received were more plump and fresher which made them roast better.

Thank you.

The Chilies arrived in fresh condition, ready to roast and peel. I actually found the Sandia green chilies to be spicier than the extra hot I received, but since I have already frozen all of the chilies, it might have just been the few I sampled. I'm hoping 5 lbs. of each will last me until next season.
