This is not just a review of this product but the company as a whole. I've ordered whole and chopped roasted chiles and fresh for the first time this year. The quality of product is excellent and very good customer service. I was especially impressed with the fresh chiles. Beautiful and delicious. And the smell when I opened the box was incredible. I ordered 25 pounds to share with friends. Next time I'll order 25 pounds just for myself. So good.

We moved from Tucson, (Vail AZ) last summer to the panhandle of Florida near Destin. We quickly realized there were NO whole Green Chilies or decent tortillas to be found. Luckily, we tried the Hatch Chile Store to deliver their product to us. We received the Chilies in 1 pound, vacuumed sealed bags, frozen hard as a rock. The chilies were Roasted and Cleaned whole chilies and they are Wonderful! We will probably go through 5 lbs. in a few months and order again. Superb!

This is my "go to" place for the best Chile rellenos using Hatch green chiles. When I cook for my larger extended family, I bake following a recipe found years ago in a tequila pamphlet!
The batter reminds me of the ones we ate south of New Mexico years ago! It is hard to duplicate. (then people were stuffing bell peppers!) Now for the recipe of the sauce put on them! Think it involved cheese, sour cream and herbs.
HEB here in Texas roasts Hatch peppers on weekends in August! Always a "Good thing"!

These mild chiles are very thin and scrawny. They are thin with very look like the poorest of the harvest. The flavor is non existent and these do not compare to last years batch. I dont mind paying premium $$ for good product, but this years quality is very poor. I will try for an exchange or return. Sorry folks, the chilis I have this year are not worth the money.

I first bought a bottle of this sauce at the Hatch Chile Festival a few months ago. The flavor was rich and honestly better than I expected. So here I am, ordering another bottle! If you haven't tried this, I would highly suggest it. It's tangy and has a nice balanced mix of flavor and heat. Enjoy!

As others have pointed out, the flavor here is really nice, you can taste the Chile and the cheese. One doesn't overpower the other. I heated mine in an air fryer and they were delicious. My only suggestion... I wish they came with some kind of sauce? In the interim I used a variety of sauces here at home and I was satisfied. I will purchase these again!

Finally green chiles with flavor!! Living on the east coast there are no fresh green chiles and the canned varieties taste like nothing. These were delicious and fresh with a good roasted flavor. They may seem pricey, but for the amount you get and the quality it is worth it! Glad I could bring my AZ native dad a taste of home for the holidays!

They were delicious and I would order them again. The only thing I would recommend doing is you'all cooking the green chile's a bit longer - they were "crunchy" in spots - like they hadn't been roasted long enough. But all in all, enjoyed by all.

I've grown up on red NM chili my whole life (my mother and her family are from Roswell) so I know good red chile from not-so-good red chile. And i can say with a reasonable degree of experience that the Red Chile Powder I have now twice ordered from The Hatch Chili Store is EXCELLENT. It reminds me of the red chile my little Hispanic grandmother made in the 60's and 70's when i was little and lived in Roswell myself. I've tried red chile from Roswell and from Albequerque and what I have purchased from THCS is simply better. You won't be sorry.

If you are missing authentic New Mexico green chili, order from the Hatch Chile Store. There is no substitution for green chile grown in New Mexico - none. The chiles were fresh and perfectly roasted. It has brought us great joy to cook with authentic green chili. We have made delicious stews, salsas, pasta dishes, and added chiles to beans and omelets. In addition, I was impressed with the packing, environmentally friendly and the chilis were frozen.
