8/12 - My initial order arrived 7 days after I placed my order on your website. The enitre shipment was spoiled (25lbs) and the cardboard box was broken up...looked as if it had been thrown around several times. I refused the order and contacted Hatch Chile on 8/13 about it, requesting a credit. I was informed they have a "no refund" policy but would re-ship the entire order again. I have a new order number, 1ZB8B3691333579291. I am now waiting to see if this replacement order makes it to me in tact.
8/16 - My replacement order arrived today. Product arrived in great shape. Very satisfied with the way your company handled my situation.

Ups today messed up on shipping. Not hatches fault but they are refunding my shipping costs. Live this company. Been ordering for years and will continue to do so!

Shipping was way longer than quoted. After the chilies were picked up by the carrier which was supposed to be next day air, we got them 5 days later after they went to California then to Kentucky before they were shipped to me in Florida. At least 1lb of chilies were rotten and had to be thrown away, and 3/4 of them were vary small. I was not pleased with the processing and final product.

I appreciate the delivery service you have. Just i think it take too long on the road, when I received about, couple pounds chiles where damaged, and another couple where red. May be to much time on the transit exposed to heat. but still, I am enjoying. thank you.

Luckily we didnt have to use the guarantee, our chilis arrived at the expected time and in perfect condition. It was nice to know though, that if there was a delay due to weather or other unforseen circumstances that we would be covered

Chilis showed up as expected. They looked beautiful. We roasted them on our bbq and froze them to use all year long. They are nice and hot, just like we were hoping for. Thank you Hatch Chili Store for growing such amazing chilis. We couldn't live without them.

Need to look for another Source.. Ordered 10 Lbs..l Not sure if UPS held it to long but reporteed that 7+ LBS by scale was lost and they only gave me 4 lbs;. Hell If I Lose 7+ and as mentiioned to them some of what could saved was questinonabnle. Send 8lb.. So Shorted for sure and the delays.. The 4 Lbs showed up fast not so much for the original 10Lbs.. Looking for recomendations

The Hatch Chile Store made it Right!
Through no fault of their own, the original order of X-Hot Fresh Chile that we received was spoiled by late delivery (UPS decision to ground the order, ostensibly due to weather). As advised by HCS, we sent pictures via email…and today we received BEAUTIFUL X-HOT Fresh Green New Mexico Chile.

I’m revising this review from one star to five
so that it doesn’t reflect poorly on The Hatch
Chile Store. They did what they needed to do
to make right a problem caused by UPS’
failure, and they deserve recognition for that.
UPS deserves a one or zero star rating.
((in reference to email correspondence with
your support team, the one day delivery
ended up taking five days and resulted in
significant product loss, which I’m grateful
you remedied. The replacement product
arrived in two days without any spoilage or
other issues. I do think you should consider
dumping UPS for a more reliable carrier though.))

About two-thirds of this order was salvageable
due to UPS’ failure to do their one job. The good
chiles roasted beautifully though, have a good
kick to them, and are delicious!

We are from Las Cruces, but now live in Alabama and we order from The Hatch Chile Store every year. Every time we order whole chile, as well as other items throughout the year, we are never disappointed. Our order was to be to us in (3) days
It did NOT come for (6) days
Since the box it came in was NOT frozen and dit NOT have ice packs we were very concerned
it would be spoiled.

I ordered a 5lb box of mild hatch chile and they arrived way later than expected due to bad weather. My chile was rotting when they arrived. I contacted the company and told them the issue. They were so nice and professional about the situation. They sent me another 5lb box and they were perfect. I have already roasted most of them and cooked some. I recommend them for all your hatch chile needs. The process online to order is easy, they have a lot of fun stuff on their site, and most of all their customer service is awesome! Thank you Hatch Chile for the great experience. The chile is delicious! I will order again.

I usually grow my own peppers but this years crop was not producing so I ordered 3/4 a bushel from Hatch. I was amazed how quick they came and they were the freshest and hugest peppers I've ever seen! I quickly roasted, de-seeded, chopped and froze them. I look foward to cooking with them throughut the winter and plan on ordering again next year. Hatch are the best!
