For the red chile jars, it was great. For my frozen items, not so good. I paid for 2 day air and we live in AZ. Items arrived thawed but thankfully still cool.

We are sissies when it comes to handeling the "heat" so opted for the medium green chilies. Roasted them on the Webber summit S2 Komodo, learned from pass practices to keep then out of the oven because of the oil they omit. Made a batch of Green Chili Stew using shredded pork, potatoes and 10 medium roasted green chiles. My nose ran like a faucet, had a good amout of spice, Sent a batch to my older brother, "cupcake" because he cant handle the heat and he was crying like a baby. Product never fails, fresh, consistent heat and very flavorful. Highly remmend the fresh green chilies. Someday hope to "man up" and go for the hot.

I make my green cilli with them as well, everyone loves it!
Thats where the chilli powder comes into the pot, on the stove, for those of us that need that authentic, Santiago's green chili fix 1/8-1 tsp. Hatches Hot Green Chilli Powder in the pot for dinner.

Three years ago I ordered your chile rellenos & both my husband & I didn't like the texture to the batter! We skipped ordering the next two years & ordered again this year and we are happy to say this years taste like our other orders did! Thank you for providing the taste we became accustomed to while living in NM! Though these aren't quite hot enough, they are still our favorite along w/red & green enchiladas!
NM = the "best" Mexican food in the country!!!

I received the green chili still frozen. That's GREAT. The taste is sooooo good. I did order 15 lbs this year though. And received 15 lbs. My Mom is from Povadera New Mexico . She also Loved it. Said it reminded Her of home. Buying it for that reason alone was worth it. THANKS for being there for us to enjoy back home taste.

I had two shipments of frozen chili rellenos. Both came completely defrosted and warm. The first shipment had nothing but the chili rellenos and insulation. The second shipment, which took from Tuesday until Saturday evening at 8pm, had empty sandwich baggies and the whole shipment had gotten wet. There was insulation in it. Neither shipment was marked perishable! What a waste of $70+ ! Never again! And I was so looking forward to some good chili rellenos!

This sauce is among the best ever made, best I've had but I've not been out of my state to try a majority of them but even so I'd guarantee this is still among the best.
Took 1 bottle to work just for people trying try a small amount and take the rest home and everyone loved it so much,it's about gone in 2 days.
Glad I got 2.

Tostitos use to be my favorite salsa but they switched to cheaper ingredients over the last 7 or 8 years and I hadn't found anything to replace it that comes in a jar till now.
You eat this salsa and it tastes like it was just made in your back yard because it's so fresh.
I usually like the ingredients to mingle for a while when fresh to enhance flavor but this is excellent all the time.

I'm giving a 3 star review because there were 4 chili peppers that were really mushy on the the ends. Money is not or was not the issue but when paying the amount I did for 4 lbs of authentic hatch chili peppers I would expect to have all perfect peppers as far as being picked and shipped time frame. However I removed the bad mushy ends and fire roasted the chilis and made a pot of chili which I won 2nd place in. I will order more in the future. This is an honest review,I am not stating the peppers were no good.....they were awesome in taste. Perishable items can not be truly determined on freshness and I do understand this. Thank you hatch chili store irregardless the circumstances of how I received my chilis.

I can't rate these higher because about a third of the box had chilis that were wrinkly and mushy, like they'd already been steamed. You tried to tell me that was normal, however the rest of the box were plump and crisp. I was unable to roast, peel and can the bad ones. I won't be a repeat customer, due to the fact that I was told the bad ones were normal for your product.
