In the original 5lb order that I received, over half the chiles were no good. I complained, and in 2 days got a new fresh 5lb box of Sandia chiles at no charge. I really appreciate the generous customer service, but hope in the future the boxes are inspected before being sent out. We live in Maryland and love Hatch chiles.

I love your green chili! Since I moved to the East Coast it is the only way to satisfy my green chili cravings (and trust me having grown up in NM I CAN tell the difference). This year the pods were huge and the taste is/was awesome. I wasn't sure about the temp as some years are hotter than others so I tend to mix (hot) with medium depending on what I am fixing. Thank you all for being there...

The chiles were very mild - even for medium and really didn't have a lot of flavor to them. I have ordered before and have been very happy - it could have just been the batch.

Delicious! My Chili's was shipped in a timely manner. There was a slight delay due to rain,
no fault of them. They did communicate this in advance. The Chili's came in fresh and hot as I requested. They did an awesome job with everything, will order more in the future. Refer them already to my mother.

Have orders from your company in the past . Excellent service , but this year . Did order medium, no heat. To be honest I threw them away . No flavor . I know this has been a hard year for chilis . No taste at all.

Spent most of my life in NM and every year we would go to the Hatch Festival. There really is no other green chile in the world that tastes like Hatch Green Chile.

The company went above and beyond for me with this order as there was an error in the delivery time frame and arrived earlier than told and was not held but they honored my order and resent it to me quickly and I had the lovely pleasure of roasting them in my kitchen and sending the aroma throughout my home.

I will continue to place orders with this company as I cannot live without the chile. Well done and thank you for everything. Am a truly happy customer......

Oven roasted to perfection ! Removing seeds and veins makes this hot variety of Hatch Chilis palatable. Not to worry, they’re still hot and only become not so hot without loosing flavor. These Chilis are simply the BEST!

Thank you Hatch Chili Store for your extraordinarily delicious chili.

Excellent flavor... even better than last year and this year was what I expect from "Hot". A nice slow burn. The Hot box was a bit roughed up and I had to throw away a half dozen chili's (was sorry to see them go) that seemed a little soggy and discolored. Overall we are very happy with this purchase.

These little babies will make a grown man cry. They are smaller is size but don't let the little sticks of dynamite fool ya! Package was in good shape. Roasting them was a blast and the neighborhood smelled real good. I love these even more than last year's xtra hot. Great year!

The Lumbre chiles arrived one day early. They weren't as fragrant as last year's hot, oddly, but sure acted hot during my processing. High yield! Very little loss of flesh while hand-peeling. A winner!

My husband is a native New Mexican who loves his green chile. We have tried several sources for green chile and this order we placed for chopped is the BEST!! We use this in eggs in the morning and in a soup recipe with black beans. I was wondering how the larger chopped pieces would work and they were perfect. Your quality is GREAT and I plan to place another order soon. I like to make Chile Rellanos but I can find fresh Anaheim's in my grocery store in Boise Idaho.

Ok, I had no basis for comparison as I've never used frozen green chiles before. well, I know what fresh ones are like. These are NOT even close to being like fresh. I expected this, to an extent because fresh just isn't the same as frozen. Period.

However, these were very flavorless. Medium-hot? Not by a long shot. They were very, very mild. I thought they'd have more of a smokey taste, but no. The texture was pretty much what I expected, on the mushy side. That didn't matter to me as I was making green chile and wanted the ingredients to "cook down". The color though - really an unappetizing yellow color.

So, my first, and probably last, experience with frozen green chiles left me completely under-whelmed. Truthfully, I rather doubt my bad experience was due to anything other than the fact the chiles were frozen. I'd probably see the same thing from any other producer. Well, maybe except for the heat factor. Mild, mild, mild, mild ....
