I ordered 10lbs and got them in a very timely manner. I only had to throw out a handful of peppers due to spoilage. I used to live in Austin, Texas and was able to get Hatch peppers at the grocery store, but can do so now online here in Connecticut. Shipping is expensive, but I don't mind spending the money once a year.

All 3 packages of my tamales were frozen in a big block, I had to use a knife to pay them apart. They were very icy also, but the quality we usual get sad to say.

I am a Native New Mexican living in West Virginia. I love being able to make my authentic red chili and I can’t find the chili pods in WV typically. So I’m glad I can buy them from you and have them shipped!

I live in Ohio. I love food from New Mexico where my grandparents live. I tried making red chili and obviously I do not know the technique. My grandma heard and sent me a jar of green and red from the Hatch Company. Enjoy it.

Your fresh chilis and power add perfection to every dish, the Mexican dishes my grandmother made from the 1920’s to 1990’s and the Southern recipes from my other Grandmother!

These are the absolute best green chili peppers . The flavor is wonderful, I missed smelling them roasting after I moved away. Now I just order and roast my own and I don’t miss home as much.

I live in California and for years my mother who lives in Santa Fe would send me fresh roasted chili every year until she past away several years ago. I am so happy that I was able to order fresh chili from Hatch. I recently ordered my first patch of Hot roasted Hatch green chili from the Hatch Store and am very happy with the chili. The chilis are plump and the flavor is fresh with a little zing to the hotness of the chili. I am so happy with the chili that I am ordering more to hold me over until next years crop.

25 lb box arrived in good condition to the east coast using 2-day shipping. The chilies were nicely selected and I only lost about three over the next three days due to partial spoilage while roasting. Chilies have been processed and frozen and I have not been able to run a taste test yet.

I brought those for my brother as a gift for him (he lives in Illinois) because he loved the green chili when he visited me in Colorado.
He told that they were great when he received them (on a Thursday). The only problem that I have is the cost of shipping of $59 for two day shipping. I tried contacting SHOP and received no answers for this issue of being over 2 days shipping. I had to call your store to receive an answer. I would suggest finding any another shipping company. Thank you

I order the Fresh Hatch Green Chile 25lbs/Medium every year for my cousin in Ohio.
It ships within 2 days (make sure you choose the correct delivery on your order) the chile arrives fresh and "yummy".
I also enjoy the recipes you email! They are great!

I’m a former Albuquerque resident living in Chicago the past 35 years. I still go through more green chile than most New Mexicans. Usually I fly down every fall to visit friends and relatives, and to bring back a 35 lb sack of chiles, but since the pandemic, I’ve had them shipped (this year was just a scheduling conflict). I decided to try The Hatch Chile Store this time. They’re some of the most flavorful green chiles I’ve ever had! Absolutely wonderful. I also risked it and opted for the non-guaranteed 3-day shipping. There were only 5 chiles that had to be tossed, which I consider an acceptable loss on a 25 lb shipment. I suppose that was a bit of a gamble, but all ended well. Thank you!

I ordered the Hatch Green Chile Chicken & Cheese Chimichangas along with two other items. They were shipped on August 17 and arrived August 19, shipped by way of UPS from Ohio to southern Illinois just outside of St. Louis, MO. There was no dry ice left in the box upon arrival although the contents were still cold but not completely frozen. I've heated the chimichangas in a convection oven at 400 ºF for 17 minutes to get them crispy and cooked. I didn't detect very much chicken but they were tasty.

I ordered the Hatch Chile Rellenos along with two other items. They were shipped on August 17 and arrived August 19, shipped by way of UPS from Ohio to southern Illinois just outside of St. Louis, MO. There was no dry ice left in the box upon arrival although the contents were still cold but not completely frozen. The bag of chile rellenos arrived with a big cut in the bag exposing the contents to the outside. As a result a replacement order was sent by The Hatch Chile Store. The second shipment went out by way of UPS on August 22 and arrived August 25, four days to get from Ohio to southern Illinois just outside of St. Louis, MO. The replacement shipment had no dry ice left in the box again and the bag of chile rellenos was room temperature and unsafe to use. The Hatch Chile Store issued a refund but it took ~2 weeks to process and post the refund through PayPal onto my credit card. It was not clear to me whether using UPS and/or shipping in the hot summer is the best approach for obtaining this item. I would note that Customer Service was very responsive to my concerns. I may try ordering during cooler seasons.

Please be advised that I am extremely disappointed with the two orders received from you. I paid for 2 day delivery to assure freshness and received both orders in 3 days, losing approximately 2 1/2 dozen pods to mold. I was told that if I waited until the end of August the chile pods would be much larger. The pods I received were primarily very small. I would have never purchased this size in a market or grocery store. I notified your staff via several emails that I considered the product you sent was seconds and culls.
You have given me a credit of $12.25 for shipping cost however you have lost my trust and confidence and I therefore would never order from you again. I previously emailed photos to your staff illustrating the size of pods received but will send under separate cover again. DISAPPOINTED

Quality was very good. It arrived fresh and clean. I was expecting a super X-hot chile and I was disappointed with the heat of these peppers. Flavor is excellent though. Usually I order the chiles roasted, peeled, and frozen since there aren’t many locations in NorCal that offer chile roasting. This product was not offered by you. Maybe next year.
