I get 10-20 lbs of frozen roasted and chopped Sandia every year. I've been doing it for some time. This year it's terrible. Little taste and no heat. They tell me it was machine chopped this year due to Covid instead of hand chopped. Probably they difference since there is little chile meat. I'm not sure what I will do with the rest of the chile in the freezer. And how I will get through a year without chile. Hopefully we will be back to normal next year. IT is normally the best chile.

Really liked the idea that they were roasted and peeled and packaged for easy freezing.
Portions per package just right. As we do like a little hot...they are more on the hot side of medium.....so next time.....we'll know to order the mild/medium.
We will definitely order again.

We moved from Colorado to Peoria, Il 2 years ago. We were able to get Hatch Chilies' every year sold on street corners and we would spend several hours processing them. Illinois does not have the opportunity to get the chilies so we researched and found we could order them online. The order was easy to place, the chilies were already processed and packages for us as an option with our order. The quality of the chilies was great and I speak from experience as my family and I eat them at least once a week. The chilies compared to fresh chilies was I believe identical in taste and texture and the value was reasonable. We will be ordering more in the near future.

Chili is roasted perfectly so that there is very little waste when peeling. Favor is delicious, but the medium-hot has very little heat. If you like more heat, I would suggest ordering the Hot. Value is good and chili really has good taste.

Grew up in New Mexico. Used to by 30-40 pounds of Hatch every year. Moved to Florida. Ni access here. I ordered the hot roasted. Came in 1 pound bags. Worked great. The hot was prettty good. If yoy ever go to extra hot let me know. Totally satisfied. A bit expensive but worth it to me

Delicious. Absolutely delicious. I might try hot next time. While I love the smell of roasting the peppers, having them already chopped and prepared is much easier for me because I am a bit of a savage in the kitchen at times.

There is nothing like chile from New Mexico! Having been born in New Mexico and now living in California, getting fresh chile has presented problems. I have resorted to flying to New Mexico during green chile season and flying it back or ordering it and picking it up wherever I could in California. Once I found out you deliver roasted and peeled green chile to our door, I thought I'd died and gone to heaven. Your subscription, where we get an order delivered every month, is the best. I no longer need to keep just one freezer for chile. The quality is excellent and the value for not having to find, roast, peel and chop it is a life saver. I'll say it again, there is nothing that compares to green chile from New Mexico. I will never stop my subscription. Thank you and Merry Christmas to you all.
