I sent my parents the chicken and cheese chimichangas from Hatch as a Christmas gift and they absolutely loved them. Unfortunately, the first batch sent was thawed and not edible but Hatch Chili Customer Service made it right and sent them another order which arrived perfectly. My parents still rave about how delicious the chicken and cheese chimichangas from Hatch are the best and so delicious. Now that’s a great gift to give’

Until last year we were life long residents of NM.My initial review was a 3 star because I thought the tamales were not as good as I had eaten in NM. I did not expect the company to respond but they did. They sent me another dozen to let me try a different batch. The new dozen were very good! The masa tasted great as well as the flavor of the meat/red chile. I am extremely impressed with the customer service of this company. The service and shipping was great.

Chilis arrived as expected, on time and frozen. We've eaten 1# so far. All chilis in the package were in excellent shape, none were torn. The only issue I had was ordering. The website was so slow I wasn't sure I was going to be able to complete my order.

The medium hot vary a lot in heat. Some are not hot at all and some are very hot. Last year we bought the hot and they were too hot. We were really hoping to get them in between medium and very hot but what we got is some of each.

This chile is loaded with flavor and packs just enough punch to keep this "spice girl" happy. I wouldn't describe it as very hot - to me, it's more the hotter end of medium-hot. But of course perceptions of spiciness are unique to each individual.
