I think you used pork shoulder when you made this. There were shreds in mine. All the flavors were excellent. I use a pork tenderloin when I make mine. I cut it up into small squares and cook it with all the flavors that you use did not did not did not like shreds in it at all all the spices and everything else were wonderful.

Some potatoes not cooked. Needs more bulk to it. Flavor is good but is more of a soup than a stew!

Please contacr Daniel at your company for my comments. I do not want to offer negative commentsin a review. Bad recipes do not make good chili. I am just anxious to finish the two pounds I have left so I have room in my freezer for ten pounds of frozen chopped hot chile. That is excellent and would get six stars from me!

Received traditional two foot-long Ristras .
There were some broken chilies which came off the Ristras.
Otherwise, it was well strung And appears to be acceptable.
I believe the prices a little on the high side

I remember the green chile stew from my youth in New Mexico. What I received was only minimally close to my memory. Not much flavor at all, no heat from the chile, and very little potatoes in the stew. I had to doctor it up to get some flavor; and even then, it was still a disappointment. I have 4 more pounds of it in the freezer that will stay there until I get desperate for green chile. Oh well, I knew it was a gamble in the first place...

I always buy a Hatch ristra (usually 1.5' or 2') every year when they come to Houston markets. Now that I'm moving to PA I will have to order them, unless the Farmer's Market has them. But I only buy Hatch chili's!

All I have to say is it was a good thing that I requested the ShipAid Delivery Guarantee be cause when I received my order the package wasn't that cold, as soon as it was delivered it was brought in to the house and opened and put away. Very disappointed in the way items were packaged up, feel that not enough protection provided to make sure the chilie stays frozen in route. I shutter to think what condition the chile would of been in if I had'nt requested the ShipAid Delivery. If shipment is supposedly guaranteed to get to you in a safe maner your packageing needs to be emproved.

It doesn't look like the picture. Rather it's a package of puréed stew that is actually quite tasty. I ended up sautéing stew meat and diced potatoes and then pouring the Hatch packet of stew over it and ended up with a delicious meal that does look like the picture.

Waited months to get the stew, no problem, & when it finally came it had no dry ice was thawed & I was not sure if we should eat it. No fault of the companies I assume it was lost in the mail. Contacted customer service & a new order was shipped asap, no extra charge, it arrived still frozen & was worth the wait. Very yummy like every other product we have ordered & I look forward to all my future orders. Keep up the great customer service & amazing products you have customers for life :)
