This is delicious chile that brings me right back to being in New Mexico. With the travel limitations of Covid 19 this is like a small bit of mental travel for my mind and taste buds.
I love this Hatch Green Chile Sauce on eggs, burgers or when making enchiladas or tacos with beef, chicken or fish. Not only is it yummy when you are eating it, it leaves a wonderful lingering taste in your mouth. I'm so glad this can be shipped to me and I'm sure I will be ordered more soon.

Our Big Jim green chile arrived! Couldn't wait to taste it, so we roasted and steamed it right away. Great taste! A little milder than we hoped but great taste. We'll order the hot chile next time.

fantastic quality chiles. the sandias were meaty and had great heat and flavor. packaging was great and everything arrived when expected. I would recommend these chiles to anyone who's a fan of that special hatch flavor.

We look forward to chili season every year. Since we no longer live in the Southwest, we rely on the Hatch Chili Store and have never been disappointed. We make roasting them a special event complete with Margaritas! Thank You for providing such great green chili!

I was very pleased with the quality of the chiles I received, there were only 3 or 4 that I had to throw out and and about the same on chiles that part could be salvaged which was better than those I have purchased at my local market.
The cost of the product and shipping seemed to be the best I was able to find on the internet, which is a definite plus for me as I live on a fixed income.
I am very pleased with the flavor was hoping that they would have more heat (at least the batch I have cooked so far) but still very pleased, will try the EXTRA HOT next n
I will definitely order my chiles from you again!

My name is Michael Sandoval and I was born in the great state of New Mexico. I was introduced to the cuisine of New Mexico through my grandmother who filled the house with the smells and flavors of traditional farm cooking. Being a trained food professional I was thrilled to find the Hatch Chile Company. Finally, I can source some of the chilies from my home state. The service was of the finest quality. When there was any delay, I was notified promptly. When my shipment had arrived, I received a call from a customer service agent to let me know that it was there. At that time we were in a heat wave with high temps and humidity. Because of his call, the box of fresh green chilies were only out in the direct sunlight for no more than ten minutes. Thank you! The chilies hav been roasted and frozen safely. The flavor and Heat are exactly as advertised. I am thrilled with the chilies and the company that sold them to me. Nothing like the aroma of fresh chile's, when you open the box! They're beautiful, green, and crisp, not wilted, or soft. I have them soaking in water as I write this, as recommended, prior to roasting them. However I'm going to use a grill.
I know these are from New Mexico, not imported, I'm a believer of buy American products (as much as one can), I would rather support our U.S farmers and workers than spending my money over sea's. I trust the quality and care that goes in to the over-all development of Hatch Chile's.

Got my order today exactly when they told me. Chilies in excellent shape, crisp, fresh. 5 pounds looks like the right amount I needed to last me through the winter in southwestern dishes and salsas. I got used to having these chilies when I lived in the White Mountains of Arizona and after moving here to Ohio have found nothing to compare, not even chilies I raised. Next year I may let you do all the work of roasting, peeling and seeding and just order frozen, but right now, I am excited to get started on thes lovely chilies I received.
What a bargain for a lovely memory.

Chiles arrived today 2 day air. Very fresh. Out of 25 lbs only two chiles were bad! My kitchen smells great! I will be roasting chile on Saturday! There was a rain delay of a week, but the folks at the Hatch Chile Store kept me informed and responded promptly when I had questions. Great service.

The shipment arrived in great shape and quickly, the Chile itself was not as hot as we had purchased in previous years or expected. Though, to be fair, we just moved to Iowa from New Mexico and had always purchased from Hatch directly around Labor Day. Whether that would make a difference, I am not sure.

Chiles appear to have been picked too young. Pods are a very pale green. I was called by someone from the store to assure me that the chile were indeed ripe. After roasting, the chile has no flavor or heat, so we gave them a chance to spice up after freezing. Our second attempt at renellos, proved to still support our original thought that the chiles were picked while still "green"and not yet ripe. We are very disappointed in our shipment.

I was told I'd have to wait a week due to rain; however, it would give the chile time to firm and become heavier.
Little did I realize I would be receive immature plants that smell and taste like bell peppers. Roasting was a disappointing experience too. The chile sticks to the skin.
These plants are waxy feeling instead of smooth. Very light, instead of heavy. Lime green instead of green.
I wasted $100. I guess I should have put a note in when pre-ordering, saying to wait until the middle or end of September when the best chile is coming off the plant.

OMG!!!! A little taste of Heaven!!!!! Delivered on time....Fresh..... and ready to roast!!!! COULD NOT ASK for better!!!! Neighbors asking "what is that smell'? Told them it was was the smell of heaven!!! Now they all want some! I have to say NO!!!!!!! Weighting it out on a scale for them, like Gold!!!!!! Very impressed with the outstanding customer service. Will with out a doubt be using this company for as long as they are in business!!! Best no doubt the vert best! having Green Chile Cheese Burgers TONIGHT!!!!! I was very disappointed with the amount of chile received, I ordered 5 lbs and the box was not anywhere near 5lbs, i was lucky to have received about 30 pieces, and to add to insult I found hatch green chile in Portland for $0.99/lb.
