I ordered the Hatch Chile Rellenos not knowing what to expect. I have been living on the East coast since the late 80s. I have not a good Chile Relleno since I left Colorado.... The Hatch Rellenos were truly outstanding... light and crisp with great roasted Chile flavor and filled with delicious gooey cheese. I prepared the Rellenos in hot oil and garnished with homemade Chile Verde and shredded lettuce. The dinner took me on a nostalgic trip back to some places in Taos as well as a favorite old bar called “The Whipple Tree “we used to go growing up in Evergreen, Colorado. We will definitely me ordering more Chile Rellenos in the future! Thank you!

This was my second year ordering from and like always I was not disappointed. My first year I bought a 25lb box of hot green chilies delivered right to my front door. This year I bought 75lbs. When I had questions about my order they got back to me fast. They respect their customers! It's the end of the season for fresh green chilies but they are definitely going to be getting my business again next year. Thank you.

The rellenos are very tasty, but very small. I was expecting much larger chiles to be used. It seems like they used culls rather than specifically selected Big Jims (or similar). Honestly I am kind of disappointed considering the price paid. It's like getting half as much since you have to eat two at a time. I probably will not order these again. If you look at the pictures, the one with the 4 rellenos are rellenos that I made when I could pick out my own Big Jims and the picture with the 2 little pitiful rellenos are theirs.

I love this chile powder! Green chile powder has traditionally been hard to find, so I have been buying it from the Hatch Chile Store for years. There is other green chile powder available now, but can you really be sure that it is Hatch (there is no substitute!)

Just like the green chile powder, there is no substitute. It makes the best chile con carne and I add it to any Mexican food that I make (taco meat, guacamole, enchilada sauce (unless I make my own from hatch chile pods), queso, anything that could use a little flavor boost).

When the chili arrived I immediately opened the sack and snapped one chili and put the stem end piece in my mouth (a chili connoisseur) and chewed on it until it was rehydrated. I should have stopped sooner. Wow, it was very hot, just exactly what I ordered and needed to make hot tamales. We have a tradition, since 1975, and make tamales on Christmas Eve. We've done this while my wife an I were in the Air Force all over the world. Our friends both Americans and natives of the country loved them. We relied on our parents to send us the stuff needed to make them. Not readily available in other parts of the world. Now we have Hatch Chili company to supply us with all the New Mexico chili, red or green and we look forward to the season when it comes available. Just like New Mexicans, our friends up here in the Great White North, U P of Michigna, also enjoy when we roast green chili, cook burgers and drink cold beer. Summers here are beautifu with all the woods and now, winter, where we get snow almost everyday. Thank You The Hatch Chili Store for being here.

The hatch chilies Rellenos mild it is perfect, not too hot I love them. This is the third time I ordered them show you how much I like them. I will definitely order them again. Thank you. I reuse the box that you send the Rellenos in. This time next year I'm hoping to be moved to North Carolina these boxes come in handy. I bubblewrap my very delicate things and put them in the boxes. This is a win-win Rellenos and Cushioned boxes. Thank you again.

We ordered 2 dozen Hatch Chile Rellenos in September and just reordered 2 dozen more. They are super quick and easy to prepare (we pan fry them following the instructions provided) and so delicious topped with red or green chile sauce (or both!). We can't travel right now but we still get to enjoy the taste of New Mexico!

Best green chile in the WORLD. I grew up in NM, been everywhere else since, and I ALWAYS try the local 'spicy chile'. No flavor anywhere beats HATCH GREEN CHILE!!! It was still frozen when it arrived on my doorstep, and thanks to the notices I got from Hatch Green Chile, I knew exactly when it would arrive! Thanks again!!

Being from New Mexico originally, I naturally LOVE "red or green". Big Jim's were always what my mother grew down there. In Idaho the growing season isn't long enough. There is always late frosts in the Spring and early frost in the fall. There was only one Mexican restaurant in Boise and the owners were from El Paso. Made fantastic New Mexico enchiladas with or without an egg on top or how many layers you want. That was 1963. We always had friends or family mail us a bushel or two every year. Now there are Mexican restaurants everywhere....all California style. We can now buy green chilies in the supermarkets, but not Big Jims. Glad Hatch Green Chili is here to fix my cravings. Gotta have them in everything from Chilibeans to enchiladas to tacos to scrambled eggs. You name it, I put green chilies in it Mostly!

Perhaps we will next place an order for the HOT pepper products as we are persnickety
