I was supposed to get "hot" but somehow ended up with "mild". So, though it's lacking in heat, the freshness of the taste is exactly as I anticipated. (Next shipment, I hope will be the right ones.)

I used three jars of the Regular Red Chile Sauce (Medium) for a Frito Pie recipe from The Shed restaurant in Santa Fe. I have used this before, as well as the Shed's own Red Chile sauce, and found them to be comparable in terms of color, taste, consistency, and smell. However, this time I found your Red Sauce equivalent to be a bit more orange, not as thick, with a tomato/vinegar like smell and not very flavorful. I believe they had a 3/22 expiration on them. I received them sometime in December. I ended up throwing out the entire finished product and making it again the next night with the Shed Red, which reminded me of the previous time I had used yours. The previous shipment I got from you all this summer contained the jars that I used for the same recipe and very much enjoyed -- no detectable difference in any regard from the Shed Red.

Just some constructive feedback, as I like your products but have had problems over the last year with late shipments, incorrect items, items that were supposed to be frozen but weren't, and now this issue with the Red Chile Sauce.

The pepper is good. My only problem is that I ordered the hot sandia, but I got the mild big Jim . The time in which I received the shipment was great and the shipping was free. Believe me, even the mild peppers won't go to waste. It's just that I enjoy the heat in the sandia pepper. Can't wait till next year, I will be ordering early to make sure I get the hot stuff. Again thank you, and always a pleasure. Agustin Hernandez

I live an hour north of Pueblo, CO. I know my fellow Coloradians will disown me for this review, but damn this chili is legit. Not to mention this company makes sure you are happy. My chili showed up thawed out due to a UPS delay. They reached out to me and sent a replacement order immediately. Chili great. Customer service even better!

I sent the green chili to Atlanta to my daughters family (she grew up in New Mexico, her husband New York). I have sent many other green child over the years. Their comment keep sending this chile, it's the best we have had.
