Taste good but appearance wasn’t as good as last time. Whole, large pieces of the breading was falling off. The ice was completely melted when they arrived and they were cold but not frozen. We got them inside the moment they were delivered.

Usually I purchase fire roasted hatch chiles and process/freeze them myself. The ones I purchase come in 1 lb bags. Problem is you have to thaw the whole thing out to use just a bit. I can't use 1 lb of chiles at one time so I thawed each bag out and re-froze it in ice cube trays so I could use a couple of cubes at a time. It would be wonderful if I could get the chiles processed that way. The flavor and quality was good otherwise.

This is one of my favorite products from the Hatch Chile Store. The amount of breading is perfect: not too heavy, and they crisp up nicely in the oven. The amount of cheese balances with the pepper so the two flavors are complimentary. Great stuff!

These tamales are delicious, and make a quick, satisfying meal. I was a bit disappointed with this shipment, because all the tamales are frozen solidly in one block, making it difficult to separate just a few for a meal. My previous tamale orders have been solidly frozen on arrival, but not in a single block, so it was easy to separate individual tamales to serve them. But they’re still delicious.
