For numerous years we have ordered Hatch green Chile with Hatch packaging. The box we use received was damaged and WET coming from Wisconsin. Is the green chili actually grown in Hatch, NM? The packing does not state this, out os clear plastic. The charm of the previous pkgs showing from Hatch is gone. Since everything is made in China, how does one know the chili is not grown in China?

Absolutely lives up to their reputation. We ordered the 5-pound package of frozen medium heat chiles. They arrived packed with dry ice so the bags were still frozen solid. in perfect condition.
We used our first 1 pound package to make a batch of pork Chile Verde reducing the tedious process of roasting peppers, peeling, and chopping to opening a bag and dumping them into the pot with onions, browned pork chunks, salt, pepper, and cumin a little chicken broth and water to cover, then simmer until done.
Do not hesitate to order some!

I'm originally from Las Cruces New Mexico I actually live in Wisconsin now I haven't been back home in 3 years that's what I miss the most is Hatch Green Chile so I couldn't go back to the Mexico right now so I brought New Mexico to Wisconsin I am so glad that your company sends fresh green chile right when I open the package I smelt it and I felt like I was back home thank you so much

This is undoubtedly the best pizza I have ever had.....there is just enough hatch green chile on the pizza to give it that burst of heat and the pepperoni and cheese are so fresh....very well done. I will order this again!

New mexico comfort foods all start with great green Chilies. If like me your work means you live on the east coast To get roasted green chilies from Hatch is a gastronomical miracle. I have some chilies every morning with my eggs great chili dinners at least once a week. And i never have a problem with them arriving still frozen ready for my freezer.

We have tried canned, frozen and fresh hatch chile products in our area of Charlotte, NC and we cannot match the quality, flavor and spiciness of the frozen, roasted hot (Sandia) Hatch Green Chile. I have to say that I love these chili's. I live on the coast of Georgia, and the only way we (another 8 to 10 people) can get them is to order on line. They are truly worth the wait. They have made it here on the date they said it would arrive and STILL frozen.

The first one pound bag was gone within five days by only one person. Seriously lacking in my heat tolerance at the moment, I started by taking out most of the seeds and gradually work my way up to about one third. I love stuffing them with cheese, rolling them in a tortilla, covering them with green sauce and more cheese. Hopefully by the time I finish the fifth bag that won’t be happening. Sooooo good!

I received my order in Minnesota in record time. My son could not wait for me to make green chili so we made it for the Super Bowl! It took us back to the great times we had living in Colorado. I have absolutely no problem with your product. I think that it is superior and that it makes the right and perfect addition to my Honey Roasted Green Hatch Chile, with roasted onion and garlic preserves. It has become a runaway favorite with my customers and I will continue to use that product in my ingredients.
There are two problems that I do have with Green Hatch. One is that I am unable to get this product from you at wholesale prices, either chopped or whole, Two is that I think your customer service does not match the very high quality of your product. Inasmuch as I am interested in larger quantities on a more regular basis and moreover that you do not have this product wholesale it was suggested by Sean that I might try mixing your mild and your hot, (both of which are available at wholesale prices) to see if I might get the right heat. A great idea, but when I asked could I purchase, say, a pound of each so that I could experiment that request was met with a resounding, "no". Frankly, that is not a way to win friends or enemies or more importantly to build confidence and long-standing relationships with your customers. Additionally, when someone does get back to an email or phone inquiry it is usually days after my initial contact and I often feel that your customer service staff really does not want to speak to customers, there is a laissez-faire nonchalance to either helping a customer or to answer their questions. There is nothing to say that in the future I just might be your biggest customer, but right now because I am not I always feel like I am too insignificant. Sean, will not even take an order over the phone while speaking to him, you must speak, perhaps get helped satisfactorily, hang up and then place an order online. He could not be bothered to even tell me that I could save by buying, ten, fifteen, twenty or more pounds of the mild-hot peppers. I only found that out when I was forced to order online. I have the feeling that you are young people, I am 64, I take orders anyway that my customers will give them to me, sure, it might be inconvenient but I would never let my customers know that it was.

A life saver. Here in Maine, one cannot buy New Mexico green Chile. The subscription keeps us well-stocked, in fact is simmering on the stove in a stew right now. I highly recommend for those of you who have lived in, or merely visited, as I have, to remedy your green Chile cravings.
