I did them in an air fryer as suggested. I put them on a plate with medium green enchilada sauce and some cheese on top and microwaved until cheese was melted.
They were great. I was impressed with how fluffy the batter was and I have had a lot. I highly recommend.

We ordered 3 boxes of fresh red chilies sent to Texas. The chilies were shipped later than expected,, 2 day shipping. They were very fresh. meaty, and nice. The flavor is excellent, but on the hot side. Definitely will order from The Hatch Store again.

Very pleased with these Roasted Hot ( Sandia) Hatch Green Chili's. I am originally from Texas and had an opportunity to visit Hatch on a regular basis but now I live in the Northwest so I was happy to find this source for my Chili addiction. I am very happy with their service I had a little glitch on my last order but I contacted them and they corrected the problem immediately. Extremely pleased with their product and their service. They will be my go to source for Hatch Chili's.

This shipment was very mild and did not detect any bit of a kickbat all. I expected Medium/Hot. I would like the next level up of 5lb of chopped or whole Green chili sent to me as a replacement for the 5 lb Med-Hot Whole Big Jim Chili frozen pkgs. Your pkging was perfect & excellent, but the med hot was very mild.. Please let me know you will do this. Otherwise, I will have burned a match to the $74.+ you charged me...I live on $832/ month on Social Security & can prove I am low income...if you need to see my soc. Sec. Statement, I will accommodate you.....replacing the shipment with another 5 lb of the next step up green chile would be so very much appreciated..thank you, Cheryl Cormican...[redacted phone].

First of all I love your Chilis and your work ethics; however, my first order was not correct and I didn't fuss,but I got no mild chopped chilis; only whole. I dont make rellenos so wouldnt have ordered whole.
When my replacement hot chilis arrived, they were hot; no dry ice, so another box was sent out that also came without dry ice and the chilis were not cold.
For this reason I will probably not be ordering with you next year; although the chili rellenos that came in the first box with dry ice are very tasty.

I ordered the roasted Med-hot (big Jim) after reading a comment from the staff at Hatch telling us that this years crop of Med hot was not as hot as other years - in other words, I expected it to be somewhat mild. The remark was right on. It has a good bite but not too hot. Excellent taste and texture.

This green chile beats the HELL outta canned stuff ie; Ortega, which in the last while has been more water than diced chile. I had to order the Roasted Medium because my wife can't eat hot stuff. But having been raised in New Mexico until the age of 15 I Love it. Had family in Las Cruces Who use to send us a bushel of Big Jims every year. Idaho didn't have much chile back in the 60's. But as more and more farm workers came here from Southern California, we started finding more and more. BUT none like Hatch. No Big Jims at all. I was very happy to find Hatch Green Chile online. Thank from the bottom of my stomach.

We've been ordering the feast for 3 years. As someone who hasn't made tamales herself, and isn't a New Mexican native, this gives us the right fix. Love the rellenos and chimis too. No complaints! Shipping is quick, everything is still frozen when it arrives! We'll be ordering it again!

There are so many uses for Freeze Dried Chopped Hatch Green Chile. Three of my favorites are Pizza, Smash Burgers and Quacamole. The Frozen Chili just doesn't work! Hope they soon do a HOT or possibly a RED & GREEN mix.
