I used to live in AZ, and now being in FL, we can not get green chile. I've ordered from several different companies in NM, and this is by far the best! We like spicy, and the hot is just as advertised... it has just the right amount of heat. Hot, but with plenty of flavor. I prefer getting them just peeled, as then I get to decide how much of the seeds I leave in. I just placed my second order, and I will be coming back again!
Thank you Hatch Chile Store!!

Never disappointed with the quality. We use these specifically for rellenos and they're always so meaty and flavorful. I've made it a habit to buy a bunch and they stay good all year if you keep them sealed and frozen. We recently just finished up the last 3 pounds from last year and they tasted great. They are more expensive than what you'll find in the grocery stores, but you really are worth it when you consider how consistently good they are. At the grocery store it's always a crapshoot where some will be much hotter than others, some will be paper thin after roasting and peeling, and most of the time you have a limited selection. Ordering them directly is painless, they come roasted, peeled and frozen into nice 1lb vacuum sealed packages that can be used throughout the year, no waiting around for your local grocery store to get a new batch.

These chilies are definitely hot, which is just what we wanted. Yummy NM flavor plus the heat. We use them for everything from toppings on burgers and pizzas to enchilada casserole and NM green chile stew. I know people think chiles are expensive, but there is no other flavor like them and this company delivers the best. Chiles arrived on a hot NC day completely frozen with leftover dry ice. Made guac the moment they came!!

Bought as a gift along with the red / green chili sauce, rellenos were frozen solid when received and in great condition. They just tried them yesterday and LOVED them. Very easy to prepare as well! I had some questions for customer service and called the Hatch Chili store, spoke with Daniel who was extremely helpful on the phone. Can't wait to order some for us!

Best green chile to order online. I order chopped frozen green as I live out of state and unless you want to roast it all, it's the best way to purchase. I've been ordering from there for years. Latest batch excellent. Great customer service.

Both the green chile chicken and the green chile cheese tamales were outstanding. We are saving some to enjoy during the holidays. My son and I both agreed that the smoked pork red chile tamales were not our favorite. The smoke flavor overpowers the delicious red chile. That's the only reason for the 4 rating. The green chile products are a definite 5!

My family is from El Paso and Tularosa, but we live in DC now. We have ordered the chilies (fresh to roast ourselves and frozen) because we are big Hatch chile fans. This was our first time ordered the tamales and rellanos. It was for just my son and I -- which was excellent because that meant we did not have to share. And we got to keep all the leftovers :) We especially loved the rellanos. You cannot get a good one in the DC area. These are truly the taste of home!

I love these chili’s. I get them every year, and I am running out, so I hope harvest is soon and abundant. I usually order medium and medium-hot. Sometimes I order hot. The medium have very little heat, just flavor. Med-hot have flavor with a kick and hot, well, they are mostly heat and a bit of flavor. I usually just add those to recipes that need heat, in conjunction with the mild.
