Medium-Hot Roasted Hatch Green Chile - (Big Jim)

I expected the medium hot to be pretty spicy but unfortunately they had zero spice. They had the subtle flavor of a green bell pepper. I was really hoping for some kick after reading that the medium ones had minimal spice this season -- the medium hots were a dissapointment.

Have always loved my Hatch Green Chile but was very disappointed in this batch. The medium hot has zero heat and not very flavorful?

I cannot believe how delicious these tamales are. I was a total sceptic too,. How can tamales taste this good when they've been frozen and microwaved? We will be a regular customer, believe me. The convenience is fabulous and the taste/texture is incredible.

I was dumbstruck when my husband first ordered frozen tamales. I thought he was crazy! I remember the horror of canned tamales and thought it would be like that. So he nuked some of these tamales and had me taste them. They were awesome!! I am a convert now. The convenience of nuking a couple of these delicious tamales, and adding beans or side salad with salsa is great. We keep a bag in the freezer now, don't want to be without them.

As a native of New Mexico I miss the food on the daily! So glad I found this website to deliver the taste of home all the way to Florida! The packaging was perfect in handling the Florida heat as it was delivered in the morning and we were at the beach until sundown! The Chile was still frozen when we opened it! I made Green Chile stew then followed up with the leftovers to make Huevos Rancheros for breakfast!! Will be ordering again!

Being in East Tennessee, finding good chilies can be a challenge. We were so excited and pound box at Chili's and hubby grilled them up and bag them for the freezer right away. We've already used one bag to make green chili pork burritos. Yum. Can't wait for our next recipe!
