I was completely disappointed to find the ‘produced date’ on my rellenos to be 7/24!!!!! These rellenos had sat in a freezer for a year and a half already. I don’t know about you, but I would NEVER serve that old food with freezer crystals to any guests. These were for a Christmas Eve dinner. Needless to say the menu had to be completely changed. Come to find out they can sell for up to 2 YEARS old. Disgusting!!!!

If you can't be in New Mexico at harvest time to bring the green chile home with you, this is the best I've found as a substitute. The chile is already roasted, and I've been buying it chopped this year. The flavor is great, the heat is perfect for my taste, and it's ready for me to use. I cook 1-2 packages at a time with chopped onions, garlic, and chicken broth, for 20-30 minutes, and it's ready to mix with chicken, pork, pour over eggs and sausage, add to quiche, stews some soups. Great with Apple sauce if you don't add the onion and garlic.

Yum!!!!!!!!
I can rarely find Hatch chiles out here in California so I was really excited when I found your website. The chiles arrived frozen and had just the right amount of heat and lots of flavor. I'll be coming back to you to get my chili fix!

Box damaged and the four chilies at the bottom of the ristra had fallen off and we're lying in the bottom of the box. The chili's were very dry and the the top several chilis were covered in dust. If I didn't know better I would have said this was a ristra left over from last year. I contacted Hatch along with a picture of the crushed box and received a response one week later. They told they needed to see the ristra before they could proceed. By this point I had already given the ristra to a neighbor for the holidays. Won't be ordering next year.

I got the whole "Big Jim" Chiles. They arrived in great shape and are really tasty!
One problem; They were overroasted and not substantial enough to make traditional individual chile rellanos. I have to use them to make chile rellano casserole or chop them for other uses!
