I have ordered from you before and have never been disappointed. This batch however was the worst i have ever tasted.
I ordered medium because i like some heat but this box of medium has absolutely NO heat and close to no flavor. It has left a lot to be desired.

They cannot seem to organize their shipping department. I ordered frozen green chile and it was shipped with no shipping notice from the seller, no tracking notice from the shipper, and no label on the box that it was perishable. Thus, it arrived while I was traveling and although I had made arrangements to have all mail brought inside my home in my absence, there was absolutely no indication that unpacking was needed. So I returned home to a fetid mess. The store acknowledged that they were having trouble with the transition to a new shipper and they offered to resend the order, which was kind. However, at the same time I purchased an additional product (tamales and rellenos) added to the second order, which was shipped in a *separate* box. And the second box with the additional product suffered from the same original problem! No tracking notice, no label that it was perishable , and no indication for the person bringing in the packages that it should be unpacked. I travel a great deal for work, and again this package was left to rot inside my house by the person who brought in my mail- who successfully unpacked and put away the one package with reshipped green chile, because I had been given adequate info to prepare! So, buyer beware- if you can sit in front of your door or delivery location 24 hours a day, seven days a week and pounce the moment something arrives, you may as well take your chances. I need to work in a location that is not in my home, so that is not available to me as an option.. Fool me once shame on them, fool me twice shame on me. I will never order from them again.

We've received multiple orders of these. We've always tried Big John's for chili rellenos but could only get mild or medium with any taste. These 5 lbs of hot will make about 10 rellenos, fairly meaty, and nice and hot, very tasty.

I love the Hatch Chile Rellenos, with the Hatch red chili roast and green chili roast. The last two orders were not frozen when they arrived-there was a lot of packing but no ice. They felt cold to the touch but after refreezing were not as good as when they arrive completely frozen. Perhaps the shipping time was too long, but Hatch is such a good company that I'm sure they'll address the issue satisfactorily.

The Chile pods showed up in great shape and they are fresh and absolutely delicious. When I made my first batch I used half hot pods and half medium so it turned out a little mild but the flavor was really good. I did not see any extra hot on the website but it would be nice to have an option for a spicer chile.

I grew up in New Mexico and every Hatch Chile season we would purchase a large amount to roast. It brought back good memories. I wish Hatch chilie I purchased would have been roasted a little more. When I bite into the chile it was hard and and tough to bite off a piece. Just wished they had been roasted longer for a better experience
